Sooo... we didn't check in on Wednesday, so does anyone want to do it now?
1.) What did you do this last week to help you meet fitness / health / weight loss goals?
2.) How did you do? (Measuring your progress by weight, pants size, gained physical abilities, etc.)
3.) What is your goal for next week?
4.) How will you go about accomplishing that goal?
5.) What do you count as your success this week?
6.) What do you count as an area you need to improve this week?
If no one wants to play, that's cool.
Re: Where are my Weight Check In Ladies?
2.) How did you do? (Measuring your progress by weight, pants size, gained physical abilities, etc.) I lost 6lbs... but it really isn't impressive when I had tummy trouble all week.
3.) What is your goal for next week? My goal for next week is to be better about tracking on Weight Watchers... but I honestly know that is going to be extremely hard with the holidays, but I have the best of intentions.
4.) How will you go about accomplishing that goal? When my Aunt is here we are going to work on getting the junk out of my cabinets and putting together some freezer meals that are "clean" and veggie heavy.
5.) What do you count as your success this week? I did eat almost entirely homemade food. That's always a better choice than junk food.
6.) What do you count as an area you need to improve this week? I need to make sure I sit down and track. I also need to make sure I have more fresh fruit in the house. DD1 munches through all the grapes, apples, bananas - everything! and it seems like all the fruit is gone before my next grocery store trip. I just need to remember she is a fruit nut and buy 2x as much.
I ate chips and a Big Mac. Wah.
Nothing. I suck. I didn't even go for a walk around the mall like I planned to.
2.) How did you do? (Measuring your progress by weight, pants size, gained physical abilities, etc.)
I shrunk a little, which is nothing short of a miracle.
3.) What is your goal for next week?
Try not to suck.
4.) How will you go about accomplishing that goal?
My theory is that with the ILs here I'll be so stressed out I won't be able to eat. That being said usually the opposite happens.
5.) What do you count as your success this week?
I would have said not eating junk, but I caved and had Burger King yesterday. Oh, I didn't get more fat, that's pretty cool.
6.) What do you count as an area you need to improve this week?
Not being a fatty would be an awesome improvement.
I tracked most of my Points with WW.
2.) How did you do? (Measuring your progress by weight, pants size, gained physical abilities, etc.) Lost 0.8 pounds.
3.) What is your goal for next week? To at least maintain. With the crazy holidays and parties and bottles of wine being passed around, it will be hard.
4.) How will you go about accomplishing that goal? No idea!
5.) What do you count as your success this week? Just attending WW when I could be doing a million other things!
6.) What do you count as an area you need to improve this week? Not drinking my calories.
Kudos to you ladies making it happen!!! You're my motivation!! Don't give up!!!
I support anyone who wants to take the holidays "off."
I'll keep posting the check-ins (or anyone else can,) and feel free to jump in if you feel like it or not. Not pressure.
Moral of the story: when you're feeling down on yourself because of your weight, take a moment and think "it could be worse, I could be Zever."
Yay! We are chubber sisters!
To get to my goal weight I need to lose 70 - 80 lbs as well.
Sometimes I think I would like to be on that "Extreme Weight Loss" show with that Chris guy who comes to your house and gives you a work out plan, an meal plan, etc. and a year of his counseling to get it done, but I'm not quite big enough for that. Then I see the things on magazines that are like, "I lost 40 lbs! Check out my tips for major weight loss!" and I'm like, "Crap! I have to lose 2x that!" LOL!
We are middle fat! No one wants to put us on a reality show like Biggest Loser, because we are not fat enough, but we are too fat for magazine diets. It's a weird place to be.
The year before my BFP I decided enough was enough and started working out a lot & eating healthy...I lost 60 lbs. then we started fertility treatments and I gained 30 of it back in 4 months, wtf.
Fast forward through pregnancy and add another 30 extra pounds, I'm right back where I started.
My end goal is to drop 80 lbs. good news is I know it can be done since I was over half way there!
Bad news is I've already surrendered to the holidays. I'll be one of the masses making healthy New Years resolutions. I've also felt like its difficult to work out & cut calories while BFing. (An excuse, I know. But I stress about ruining my supply)
I'm super impressed with you losing that much before! I lost 30lbs on WW before getting pregnant, then gained it all back (and then some) when we started TTC. Ah, well. Maybe it'll be different with a support system like this.
Yay! Maybe we will add an extra check in element for us "middle fat" girls.
We shall call you limbo fat.
You're not one who is just trying to drop those last pesky pounds, but not middle fat either...you're in limbo. My prayers are with you that you go toward the pesky pounds rather than the middle fat.
(And I really hope you can find humor in the above
Ps, I attribute my weight loss so far to BF and eating a paleo diet!
Edit- I also struggle at night time for some reason. I wonder why it's so hard at night for us? And, @zever00 my supply also took a HuGE hit when I started dieting. So far it seems to have rebounded.
Good luck this week ladies, ESP those of us dealing with monster in laws!
