Hey fellow mama's, I have read many threads about Houseguest (live in ones), and I wonder if I am the only one who can't stand them??? Maybe you are lucky to have people who step up to help without having to be told.
My mil is here for Christmas, 12 Days... So far she hasn't done a thing to help out.. She only wants to hold LO, and read her book. She is a very eccentric woman (aka bsc) and is driving me up the wall. Seriously put the baby down and help me make supper, or help with dishes, or change a diaper instead of handing Him back for me to do it.
She was holding him this morning, after I had a hell ish night and he fell asleep (I was eating my breakfast at 11:30 finally at the time), and she said to me, you should swaddle him and I bet he would have a good nap. There was a blanket just barely out of her reach, but she still wanted me to get up from the table and swaddle him.. I told her there is a blanket right beside her and her reply was I don't think I can do it, so my hubby did it. Grr
How do you guys Find the patience in your hormonal sleep deprived selves to put up with it?
I just am not very hospitable anymore I guess, now with Charlie to take care of.
