Sorry if this was discussed recently but I've been MIA for a while and may have missed it.
I know many of you have done the sleep training already and are doing well with it, but I'm still rocking LO every night and going in during MOTN as well. We've tried the CIO method at 5 and 6 months but I can't bear to hear him scream for that long and I cave. What other methods or strategies can you suggest? I'm off work for 16 days and I'm determined to make this happen before I go back to work January 6. TIA
Re: Sleep training help PLEEEASE!
Same here. Sleep trained by day 3.
It is difficult to listen to him crying but it was the best thing we did for us and for him. Whichever method you choose just be consistent and follow through. Consistency is what's effective for learning. Good luck!
Eta: spelling 12 hr night shifts = poor spelling in the morning lol
FWIW we still fed twice a night. 1130ish and 430ish. Sucks a little but better than 10 wakes a night we were doing just a couple months ago.
