It's been kind of a bad day. I just feel so extra sensitive, and coupled with the fact that my husband is very insensitive sometimes, it has really put a damper on things. Being a PGAL member, it also makes me super anxious when I feel sad because I should be happy and I don't want any of my stress to affect the baby.
What does everyone else do to cheer up if you have a bad day? (Aside from eat, I have already eaten a food truck today).
Re: Anyone feeling a little blue?
I usually make Hus console me, or make about a million checklists/do planning, or spend hours looking at glorious houses I can't afford, or read a book... basically anything to occupy my mind.
Driving around with loud music I love also makes me feel better.
I hope you find something to lift your spirit a bit. Hugs!
I find that during pregnancy hormones really work their chaos on my emotions, and eating as well as possible (I do have some phenomenal sweet cravings!) really helps me feel better, and keeping up with enough vitamin D if you live in a northern area. Good luck and Big Hugs!
I draw when I'm upset. I put on music to match my mood and I just draw how I feel. Today, I drew a girl with a "spirit girl" of ice protruding from her heart and kissing her, turning her lips to ice while she cried. Maybe it sounds sad, and I called it "the cold kiss of winter" because that's what it feels like today. I felt much better when I was done.
