Poop poll

How many poops is your LO averaging now that they are 6 months and starting solids. Are you seeing an increase, decrease or is it about the same?

    My LO has started pooping multiple times a day. I called the doctor because it's such a change from his typical habits. He said babies tend to do that around this time as their systems develop. I'm wondering if anybody else is seeing this.

    I think 4 to 6 poops a day is excessive, but the doctor thinks it's ok. I changed 3 dirty diapers during the night for goodness sake. We go in for a well baby check next week. I guess we'll see how his weight is doing.

    Good to know! We went from one every couple days to 4 before lunch! There are so many blow outs it's ridiculous!

    We haven't introduced very many foods yet. So far she does seem to poop a little more. She's gone from pooping every 2-3 days to every other day and occasionally twice a day.

    My poor lo is so constipated and I assume it from eating solids now. He never had this problem before.

    My LO went from being constipated before solids to pooping up a storm. Looks like it affects them all differently.

    We've been on solids a month and no change still 1x per day.

    1-2 times a day, and he has been on solids 1.5 months.

    About once a week right now, which is a big increase from once every 3 weeks. But I'm starting to get worried because her past couple of poops have been very firm. Dr. says I should be giving her prune juice every day (which I hate because I'm very anti juice for babies), need to get better at that.
