Easy baking

I know we have some talented bakers on A13 but I thought I would share some easy recipes I just made. I have not figured out my time management yet with LO, yet I continue to offer to bring desserts to family functions.

Today I made really easy cookies and a chocolate treat. Both are so delicious there might not be any left for my family.

Cookies:
Any flavour cake mix (I used lemon)
One egg
Cool whip
Mix together and roll into sticky balls. Roll balls in icing sugar. Bake at 350F for 10-12 mins.

Chocolate
Lay salted crackers on a cookie sheet (I lined sheet with parchment paper). On the stove melt butter and add brown sugar. Pour mixture over crackers and bake in 350F oven for 5 minutes. Pour chocolate chips on top and spread with a knife once they melt. Refrigerate and break into pieces. Eat lots!

    My mom makes those cookies. They're SO good. I call them crack cookies!

    Yum! I am baking today, too! I am making pretzel rods dipped in chocolate and then sprinkling sprinkles all over them! Also, I plan to make those peanut butter cookies with the hershey kiss on top! 

    For your chocolate recipe, did you use saltines? And exactly how much butter and brown sugar did you use?

    @AACaHa13 I used salted tops saltines. I like sweet and salty together. I honestly just poured in brown sugar and butter. I guess one cup of sugar and two sticks of butter.
