Vaginal infection?

I thought I had a UTI bc of the feeling of urgency but it tested negative. I've been getting yellow discharge and a strange odor.
I posted earlier that the test showed me being dehydrated. I'm also diabetic if that makes a difference.
Should I go back to the ob for a vaginally culture? I'm not itchy or having any irritation when I pee. No other symptoms or pains. What could it be?

    I had something similar. I didn't know I had an infection but the NP noticed during a pelvic exam. She said the color (bright yellow) and amount of discharge indicated an infection. I really don't know what it was. I did two rounds of antibiotics with no culture (she just looked and saw white blood cells in the microscope). Then on a third visit a doctor ran a culture and yeast was present. So I don't know if the yeast was the issue, or if the yeast was secondary to the antibiotics. Either way it's gone , so mention to your doctor. :)

    It's definitely bright yellow. I'm going to call on Mon & make an app for an exam.
