What is your biggest fear? Could be related to this pregnancy/motherhood, in general, or even irrational.
In general my biggest fear is losing one of my children. My irrational fear is aliens. I don't believe in little green men, but the thought of them coming down and taking me away scares the crap out of me. I can't watch any kind of show or movie that is about aliens, which includes E.T. I've hated that movie ever since I was little. In regards to this pregnancy, the health of this baby and figuring out a new routine once the baby is born is what I worry/fear the most.
Re: GTKY: Biggest Fear
My biggest fear is not being able to provide enough for my family. My irrational fear is birth. Seriously I know they say we are "designed" to do this but it doesn't make it any less terrifying to me. I almost never had a kid because of it.
My rational fear is that we will find out this baby is severely disabled in some way and not having a clue how to be proper parents and handle all of the emotional and financial toll that comes with that. I know this happens to a lot of people and maybe it sounds selfish to wish for a "perfect" child but I am just so unprepared for that. And of course, the biggest fear would be losing my baby for any reason.
My irrational fear is birds (I got bitten by a swan once as a kid and have been afraid of large birds like swan, geese, ostriches, etc. ever since) and being trapped under ice and drowning. I've heard so many horror stories of ice fishing trips gone wrong - it just terrifies me.
Irrational fear: Zombies. I can't watch or talk about anything zombie related. It literally causes me to start to panic.
I'm also scared I won't make it to my college graduation in June and won't be able to provide for my family.
My irrational fear is stink bugs crawling on me when Im sleeping haha. We just moved into a new place that has a nice fireplace, but the fireplace keeps getting filled with stink bugs and it's freaking me out!!! I keep checking my bed every night before I go to sleep and if I feel any kind of itch I spaz out thinking it's a bug!
Bugs of any kind. I can't help the panic that arises when one is near me. I literally cry when they are close. I had severe allergies to spiders when I was little and they liked to bite me a lot. I've never been stung by a bee but because of the spider allergy doctors put the fear of god in me when it came to bee stings.
Also, I watch a ton of Criminal Minds. And by a ton I mean I know how the episode ends within a minute of it starting because I've seen every episode a million times. There was one episode where this guy went totally BSC and took a sawed off shot gun in his car with him and randomly murdered people while they were driving and then he would keep driving like nothing happened. For some reason this episode has really stuck with me and I'm terrified some crazy will murder me while I'm driving.
DS #1 born January 2010. DS #2 due June 2014.
Irrational fear- clowns! I would run into oncoming traffic to get away from a clown!
Irrational fear, well now I'm terrified of nasty toenails lol. I can't sleep if I think a door is unlocked. I recheck them. Thanks to my mother, I'm afraid I will wreck, not be able to get out because I have power locks that fail and drown. So I have a seatbelt cutter/window breaker in the consoles of both vehicles. My mom special ordered cars that had manual locks and manual windows till she got her Camry a few years ago.
Irrational fear: waking up to see someone standing over me and watching me. Nothing else, just looking at me in the dark

Irrational - birds, spiders, a bad storm knocking out the power and my phone dying, people following me/watching me, anyone chasing me! That's the only reason I'm a really awesome runner, the fear makes me bolt lol.
My most irrational random thing is chipped nail polish and over sleeping.
