Um, no. I highly doubt Santa cleans that suit everyday. My luck would be the last kid from the night before would have whooping cough or the plague. LOL
I didn't worry about germs with 2 year old daughter (who saw the Easter Bunny at 6 weeks) and I haven't with our new baby. Getting sick is part of life. (I'd like to point out DD1 has never been seriously sick!) Here is Beth's Santa photo. Sorry if it's sideways!:
I let J be in the pic with all his cousins and my mom held. But then we got a chance to do a family pic with Santa and I caved and handed te baby off. That was 2 weeks ago. He's still good. I was against it so idk why I caved. But I do like having the photo now.
We discussed this on the preemie board last week and I'm with @gardennymph- God only knows what germs are in that suit! Bleghhh! We are going to ATTEMPT a Pinterest pic using a Santa hat cut and worn as a sleeve on DH arm to hold LO in front of the tree. It will have to do for this year.

I LOVE this pic on Pinterest! Unfortunately Astin got too big to hold like that, so instead we just propped her up in front of a friends tree. :-)
My 10 and 11 yr old are the ones I worry about bringing germs home from school. If they can be around their little brother all the time, then he can see Santa:)
We have a friend who is an amazing Santa and is going to let us get Santa pics next week. We did family/baby pics today at the house and she just sent me a sneak peek! One on the rocking horse in front if the tree is priceless... She looks like an angel!
I will be taking LO to get her picture with Santa next week. DH, SIL, both my brothers and I will also be getting our picture with Santa for my mom. She has a picture of us with Santa every year since I was born (I'm the oldest) and they are all strung on ribbons on my mom's wall each year for Christmas. It's a really fun tradition! We will be doing it this year and next year and then be done. My youngest brother is graduating from high school next year so we thought it would be a good stopping point.
Took him last night and didn't wait too long! Did breast milk in a bottle in line to make sure he was a good little boy and voila!! This gem was the result!!
