Im so pissed off that my daycare didnt shovel their stairs today !
I went to get DS a bit early since were getting a dump of snow and I totally bailed down the stairs ,landed flat on my ass and bashed my elbow. Im trying not to freak out that it hurt the baby since it was just a small fall but my hormones are making me want to bawl my eyes out.
Anyone think I should see a Dr or that my rational side is right and the baby is most likely fine ?
Might need this elbow looked at though *ouch!*

Baby is most likely fine, but that wouldn't stop me from calling the doctors for reassurance. Hope you are alright!

I'm just waiting to bust on the ice this winter! I wouldn't worry about the baby at all. Hope your bum and elbow are ok though!

I'm sure you and baby are fine, but if it'll give you a piece of mind I'd definitely call the doc. Y'all come move down to Louisiana! No ice here

I think you're ok, especially because you didn't land on your stomach. I'd watch for cramping and spotting and call the doc if that happens. Take it easy tonight and ice that elbow!

I would call. If you are blood type negative you might need a rhogam shot incase there was any trauma / bleeding. Which their probably isn't but just to be safe.

Thanks everyone ! Im feeling ok now, a little less emotional. I took a nap and listened to the baby with the doppler and everything sounded normal. I also called my SIL who's a nurse and she said just to watch for bleeding but that more than likely the baby is just fine. Im still nervous but hopefully I can calm down over the next day.

I slipped and fell in the damn snow today too. I swore like a drunken angry soldier then laughed my ass off. I now have a pinched nerve in my back, swelled hand and sore leg. But I felt baby move so I'm sure I'm ok

Hope you feel better and get some reassurance. Sucks they didn't shovel the snow ! Lawsuit waiting to happen

I am 16/17 weeks. I fell today. Went to get out of bed and my foot got caught on the blanket. Landed on my hands and knees. Scraped my knee pretty good. Hurt my toes on the foot that got caught.

I think you will be fine because you didn't land on your stomach.

I know it scared me when I fell. I laid there for a good five minutes.

My step mom was 6 months pregnant with my brother when a drunk driver hit her. My brother came out fine. A smartass, but fine.

I fell on ice last weekend and was really worried too but everything is fine. Just watch for bleeding or cramping but my doctor said at this point baby is still pretty well padded in there. Fx for you!
