Acid reflux, ayone else's LO have this problem?

We'll eat dinner, Lilliana will be playing with her toys when all of the sudden.... vomit everywhere, then fine and playing again, she loses all of her dinner.

Her last pedi didn't believe in acid reflux, and her current doctor says it doesn't happen often enough to give her medicine. (It occurs maybe 3 times a week)

Is there a special doctor I need to bring her to for Acid reflux medicine?

Does this happen to anyone else? TIA.

  • DD doesn't have any of these issues.   My advice would be to monitor her diet if you don't want to go the medicine route.   Eliminate the foods that are cuasing the issues and load up on the healthy stuff that doesn't.

  • I agree, monitor her foods and use process of elimination to figure out what is causing it.

If it were really acid reflux, I think you would notice a good bit of discomfort from her, crying, fussing, even refusing to eat.  Believe me, I had it and still sometimes get it myself, and T went through it for a while back around 2-6 months.  He would scream and refuse to eat.  Acid reflux is really painful, especially if it is bad enough to cause her to vomit.

Could it just be her being too active after eating or maybe she ate too much?

A food sensitivity could do this as well. Like a food allergy just not as bad. Like pp suggested monitor what she's eaten on the days she throws up.
