Baby fever??

Hi all, I know I am not super active on this board but I just have to know if it's just me... is anyone else already dying for another?? Currently trying to talk DH into #3, hopefully trying a year from now, but I honestly would get pregnant again now if I could. Am I crazy?

Guilty... I, too, wouldn't be too upset for a surprise BFP. If not, we're gonna plan to start trying again when DS is around a year old.

I am enjoying my chardonnay way too much this Holiday season to think about a second. I must admit though, I am very much looking forward to seeing some announcements on our board when the BFP's start for everyone.

I'm definitely open to another than I was with DD1 at this point, but I prefer to enjoy the baby stage, first.

I'm not dying to have another, but I know that if I want another it needs to happen sooner rather than later. I'm already 36. We plan to conceive around S's 1st birthday. My OB has already given me the green light for sooner if I want, but I would like to get a bit healthier first. So, I can hopefully avoid some of the pregnancy complications I had with her. We'll see. Maybe june or July.
The thing is, I know she will be having another surgery in February 2015. I don't want to leave her at the hospital or a newborn at home during that time. I know when you have more than one sometimes you have to be with one rather than both, but not yet, not for her (hopefully) last surgery. So, if I can plan it so that #2 is due after that, it'll be better.

As much as id love a bunch of stair stepper babies. No, nope. Not happening, one bf and i STILL havent dtd, two i want to be finished with school, and three ds is such a different personality from c that hes just going to be the baby for awhile.

I wouldn't be mad if we got a BFP right now. But we have a lot of plans for the next couple years, so we aren't trying....but I'd definitely be okay with it.

PS...did I miss the first BFP announcement? When/who?

@kwrecks It was crazy early on and not a regular. In fact, I don't know that she's been back since posting the BFP announcement.

@mgg242 DH and his younger sister are four years apart and considerably closer than my sister and I, who are 17 months apart. If we weren't related we would never have had a relationship. Relationships aren't about age, but about personalities.

That being said, H and I were talking about whos more challenging - our big one or the twins (together) and we both decided that the big one was/is more of a handful. He's been a sparkler since day one and it took me just about two years to get on board w TTC after him. I love him dearly, but he's not for the faint of heart

If we had had the twins first, I'd def have baby fever around this time. But your life in 9mo will be waaaaay different with a mobile toddler. Adding a baby to that mix is hella hard - ask anyone w 2u2.

yes! but babysitting my friends' 15 month old every other week has been a major reality check. It remind me what it would be like if i got a bfp any time soon. but since they moved away last week

I'll have to try and remember on my own. I think I want DD outta the infant carrier before ttc.

@belhurstbride she hasn't been back. She came here to announce, a couple of us called her out, (as we should've) and a couple white knighted....and she never returned.

That's what I told my husband the other day when he asked what if I were pregnant again. I was like "I'd like tequila in my life for a little longer before I have to give it up for a year ahha!!"

I'm an older momma and my husband and I want several children so I don't really get the luxury of time. We'll start trying again this time next year. I love having a late summer/fall baby so I'm hoping to repeat that. And hopefully our restaurant will be profitable by then and I can stay home with them.

I do but I think it's because DS is our last. I am very happy with our 4 kids but as I pack away newborn stuff I cried some knowing I'll never have a little baby again. I think if I listened to my heart I would have 44 kids.....which would not be good.

I totally have it, but know in reality, a BFP right now would scare the crapola out of me. We're going to wait until DD is 2 to start actively trying...unless we get a surprise sooner.

Nope. No baby fever. Two is MORE than enough. Three years old is a very difficult age.. I am glad we had DS2 before we found out how hard it is, because we probably would've stopped with him.

Ah, no. If I had 4 more arms and about 2 more boobs I would say yes.. But I'm just starting to get my sanity back. Plus, the taste of alcohol after both kids are in bed is just too good.

We're not actively trying right now. We need to start having sex on the reg first.

But, yes, I'm ready-ish. I miss being PG really bad, but I don't want to miss anything in LO's first year. So, we'll wait until her birthday has passed.

I honestly would not mind a surprise BFP…although our house only has two bedrooms, so it really doesn't make a lot of a sense from a practical stand point. Realistically, I see us waiting at least 2 years before we try again. By then we will be ready to move to a bigger house (or add on to this one), and I also like the idea of it just being me and Dylan for a little while.

I wouldn't mind a 3rd child but I would want to wait until DS2 is in school (like real school, not preschool!). But that would put me at 37 and DH at 45.

And that just sounds awful.

I do not have any interest in having another baby. I always knew I would be one and done. I'm also elderly and was very lucky to have an easy pregnancy (although it didn't feel like it at the time) and a healthy daughter. Really wouldn't chance it again. BUT my husband who was firmly in the OAD camp has been making disturbing comments to C about a little brother. Silly man.

This. I want to spend a lot of time with DD maybe in a year or three. Plus FI & I are not having another nor getting married until he can provide financially.

Yes, we are also in the throws of "terrible threes" but I do remind myself these years are fleeting and they're adults for much longer than they are children... it gets me through the tough days, haha.

I am on the fence. I would love to be pregnant again but I am not sure how DH would do having 3. I am starting to think our life maybe ok with the 2 boys. I sort of think that the only way is going to be an oops. If that happens I will for sure know it is God's plan. We had always planned 2 but I'm not sure I am done.

Not gonna lie, we are trying for #2 already. However, we needed fertility treatment for LO so I am not holding my breath. When he reaches 9 months old, we will talk about going back to the clinic (I have low ovarian reserve so my eggs aren't getting any better).

We are also trying again currently. I am 35 and want to get this phase done with, not getting any younger!
