What does movement feel like?

If it feels like little gas bubbles in the front of my abdomen I am feeling the baby move! It is more in the evening time too. Kind of exciting. I was getting worried because I am showing but still fit into my work pants and I am 17 weeks. I wanted to make sure something was still growing in there. Big US in 1 week!

I think everyone describes it differently, but gas bubbles is definitely what it feels like. I personally think it feels like someone is lightly tapping or flicking you from the inside at first....now I just feel full out jabs! LOL

Don't worry about fitting into your pre-pregnancy pants. I didn't start really needing maternity clothes until about 20 weeks or longer. I started wearing shirts and some pants before that for comfort, but didn't necessarily need them. Up until 30 weeks I had to listen to everyone say I was too small, then by 32 weeks people were saying how huge I was and that I must be having twins. People are crazy!

I also thought movement kind of felt like popcorn popping inside How exciting!

sounds like movement to me! I felt it around the same time in my pregnancy, and I also was not big at all at that point. It gets even more fun when you can see the baby move from the outside.

Sounds like movement to me and don't worry about the pants. I described mine as little fishy swimming around. You know like when you were little and you won a fish at a festival and they were in the plastic bags hitting the side, that's what it felt like to me.

Yep! I thought it was tiny muscle spasms in a weird place when I first felt it. I agree, it was like little, very muffled popcorn pops. Awesome, isn't it?

I bet that's the baby! I felt little kicks. It kind of seemed like a fish flopping around.

It definitely feels like gas bubbles. In fact since I had E I have occasionally felt the baby move and then realized a little belatedly that I am not pg. LOL! So yes that is exaclyt what it feels like early on, but later there is NO question. It feels like someone kicking you from the inside! HE HE.
