Slings and Moby Wrap

Liev basically lived in a sling when he was a newborn. I'd put him in the froggie position and he'd be in there for hours. Well, he's too big for that position now and I can't for he life of me put him in the front carry position. I Could never do the cradle position as instructed by Hotslings either. I've seen the videos but I just can't do it.

How do you put your 4+ month old in the sling? Any tips to make the process easier?

As for the Moby Wrap, is he too old for the cradle position? I could never do this one either! TiA!

By front carry do you mean forward facing? If so, the trick is to lift baby REALLY high to get the first leg in (have your husband help the first time if necessary). The second leg is looser and goes in much easier.

We use the moby and most often put her in the forward facing position for the last 2 months or so. This weekend, I put her in like when she was a newborn (unsure of the position name, probably cradle), but it was like she was sitting sideways in it. She liked that too.

I was talking about forward facing in the Moby, not the hotsling.. my DS HATED the hotsling! Have you tried it in the moby?

Yeah,I have a moby. We've tried it a few times with mixed results. I want to give it another go since he's back in the wanting to be held all the time stage.

Does he not like the front carry forward facing position in the Moby? DS likes it and he is only 2.5 months. Its super easy, the same as facing in, you just put them facing out.
