Hi girls! I can't believe this is my last 1st tri check-in! Today I have my 2nd OB appt where they are having me do the 1 hr glucose test early and I'm also really really hoping for an ultrasound to see baby! I haven't had one in over 4 weeks and really want to make sure baby's okay! I know all of you understand that.

QOTW: We have our anatomy scan scheduled for late January and will be finding out the gender then! What I haven't decided is if I want them to tell us right on the spot or put it in an envelope and have a gender reveal cake. We will be happy with either a boy or a girl, but I am such a planner and want to know in advance. The way we look at it, it will still be a surprise, just an earlier surprise!

Hi ladies! I'm 7w2d today and feeling pretty good. Most of my symptoms come at night. I'm a little nervous for next week though because I'm on-call for work. This means getting woken up in the middle of the night when things break, which results in very little sleep. Plus it's Christmas week and I'm worried I'll miss out on the good stuff because of work. UGH. Add in fatigue and nausea, and it's a recipe for disaster. I hope I can make it through in one piece!

QOTW: Resounding yes! I want to know as soon as possible. On the other hand, we don't know which genetic family our baby is from since we transferred two donor embryos from two families. That will be a surprise that waits until birth.

YAY to last day of 1st Trimester!!! I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow!!

It's totally crazy how fast time flies. It's funny how the first 8 weeks are full of angst - fretting about the cycle, fretting about the retrieval, fretting about the transfer, freaking out during the tww, then getting your BFP on HPT and having to wait for the Betas, then having to wait longer for the ultrasounds, and then that transfer to OB/GYN....and then everything calms down. I was so high strung for weeks and now I'm so mellow. It's crazy what we've gone through to get to second trimester!!

Our next appt is Christmas Eve. I am hoping to get my Harmony 21 results back by then and find out the sex of the baby. It's my consolation prize for not having an NT Scan and getting to see baby.

Last week I did the 1hr early glucose too, I have history of the gestational diabetes...but everything came back fine on that one. I'll get to start IM injections again - YAY...NOT yay!! - due to history of spontaneous premature labor.

QOTW - We will A/S in January too! And will definitely be finding out the sex, but Hopefully we'll already know since we did Harmony 21. So it will just be a confirmation!

I am 5w5d today and had my first u/s yesterday. Everything looked pretty good so far. We leave to go to Europe actually right as we speak and when we get back on the 30th we have our next u/s at 7w1d. Praying for a healthy heartbeat.

QOTD: I do plan on finding out the gender. Weve already planned what our gender reveal will be like!!

Good morning ladies! It still feels surreal to think 7w4d means we are actually PG. I'm still having trouble trusting and fully giving this "carrot" to God. (Thanks DH for the adorable nickname). We have many family Christmases comming in the next week, but I'm still not comfortable enough to share with even immediate family yet. Rock meet hard space!

QOTW: Absolutely not finding out! We waited 5years, we can wait 33 more weeks!

Whoa, I didn't realize this was my last check-in till you said it cinnamon! Where has the time gone?! I'm happy to see it's moved so fast!

I'm a little over 13 weeks and feeling pretty good except for the gagginess. I almost threw up last night (because I gagged brushing my teeth - eye roll!) but I managed to calm myself down and get through it. I have to give myself pep to not throw up lol. Ahh, pregnancy!

I'm really excited about entering 2nd tri. The 1st tri has been rough. My 3rd tri I'm honestly not sure how great that will be, since I imagine I'll be on bed rest and balloon up to Shamu size sometime in there. So I'm really counting on 2nd tri to be the glorious, magical trimester for me, haha.

On a random note, a lot of my friends or their wives are pregnant right now too and it makes me so stinking happy. For years I missed out when my other friends were pregnant and now I'm part of the "cool kids club" expecting babies all around the same time. Can't wait till we can have play dates

QOTD: Mama's got to know! My a/s isn't until 2/04 but I have an OB appt around 16 weeks so I'm hoping she can guess at least, if not though we'll go that weekend to an elective place and get it done. I want to find out first with hubby so we can celebrate the news, then I'll have my family over for dinner/dessert and for dessert we'll have a 'gender reveal' cake. My friend wants to throw a big gender reveal party for me but I'm not sure about that!

Hello, I'm new to the list. EDD is August 19, 2014 and we transferred one bean. Ultrasound on New Year's Eve and hoping to hear a heart beat. No symptoms so far, other than some unwanted belly fat accumulation--is that normal? I normally go to the gym 4x/week but haven't managed to go to the gym at all this month, only exercise is walking the dogs.

QOTD: We plan on finding out the gender, although the old wives ring test has been pretty accurate with my friends.

hi ladies! So hard to believe this is my last 1st Tri check-in!! 13wk2d today - next OB apt is Dec. 27th. We don't have our anatomy scan scheduled yet, but I imagine it will be sometime mid-late January. We are definitely going to find out genders (Assuming the babies cooperate!) - I am way too much of a planner to not know any longer....And, I am super excited to start buying nursery furniture and decorating, so I need to know!!

Hi girls,

Had my first OB appointment today and that was boring. Just a pap and a crap ton of blood work from a very rough nurse that acted like I disrupted her lunch break by having to do her job. I'm sad I didn't get to see my bean today, but Monday they said I could come for a viability ultrasound since they didn't have one from their office yet, so hopefully I get to see my gummy bear on Monday!

Full on nausea and got some meds from the doc the other day so I could drink fluids at least. I am able to drink a bit more now, eating is still sketchy, but hopefully better by next week because I will be sad to miss all the Christmas food!

QOTW: Definitely want to find out the sex of the baby...I'm not patient enough to wait the whole pregnancy! I already did the Chinese gender calculator thing and it is saying boy, but obviously I'm not going with that as end all be all!

Hi everyone...I'm sorry I've been MiA the last few check-ins. I can't believe this is my last one in 1st trimester! But I'm so excited about the honeymoon of the 2nd trimester. This week I've been feeling amazing...night and day from before. I've started exercising again and have most of my energy back. I've also started to tell friends that I'm pregnant, which has been fun. For everyone who is struggling through morning sickness and fatigue...there is light at the end of the tunnel.

It's wonderful to see the new faces on this board...Congratulations! Happy Holidays everyone.

QOTW: We definitely plan to find out the gender, though I admire anyone who can wait. We've scheduled an early gender reveal for 17 weeks at a private ultrasound place for January 11th. We're going to have them write the sex in a sealed envelope and do a gender reveal cupcake. My DH and I already have a date planned the night of the ultrasound and plan to dive into the cupcake privately at our dinner date.

Hi Everyone! I am 10 weeks today and excited that we are getting closer and closer to sharing the news! I've been feeling pretty good besides for extreme fatigue. Waking up 10 times a night to pee cannot be helping the situation! I have another u/s next week and can't wait to see the gummy bears again!

QOTD: We will most definitely find out as soon as we can!! I can't imagine not being able to plan for the sexes of twins! We did CCS testing, but my clinic refuses to tell us the sexes of any of our embryos. Shouldn't this be my right?! Once I am officially released from their care, the genetics dept. will contact us to let us know what was transferred. WTH?! I am going crazy here!!!!!

Hey ladies! I will be 8 weeks tomorrow and as of last appointment on Wednesday, everything looked good! I have one more appointment the Friday after Christmas and if all is well we will graduate! What a bitter sweet feeling, I want to continue through them but I don't because I want to move on!

QOTD: we will be finding out the sex of the babies so I can plan names and their room! I cannot wait until then!

I am 7w3d today and had my third (yes third) U/S and I still have another before graduating. Baby Juice was looking good and heart beat is up to 124 now. Pregnancy wise I feel great - no m/s, yes I'm tired but not overly so. I just have the sore nips, burp bile, and now have the bleeding gums to add to powerful smells and tastes. However, I do have a UTI and a nasty cold so I'm not feeling good in that area.

QOTW: Loooong ago (like four years ago?) We agreed that if we had a singleton we'd be team green but that if we had twins I'd get my way and we'd find out. But I'm thinking if I really want I can convince DH to let us find out on our singleton...but there is a part of me that likes the idea of surprise. IDK. For now we're sticking with the idea of team green.

Sign me up! :-D I'm 7w5d and got to see the one bean flickering away on Monday! I'm out of town all next week so I'm waiting longer for the next u/s. It'll be 12/30 when I'll be 9w1d. That should be my last RE appt. Edit: My EDD is 8/3/14!

QOTD: This is a fun question for me... We did CCS too so I already know that my lil bean is a boy! Just makes me want to start the shopping!! lol

Hi! This is my first check in. I am 7 weeks 2 days today with an EDD of 8/6/14. I had my third ultrasound today (with mfm) and our bean had a heartbeat of 153. It was also my first abdominal ultrasound and for some reason I feel like that was such a big deal :-) we have a fourth ultrasound on Monday and provided everything is good, I will graduate from RE. QOTD: I really want to find out and I think I have convinced DH that we should.

9w3d today. I was so nauseous this past weekend and then it went away completely a few days, plus I had a lot of cramping and backache. I was so nervous but my OB was able to see me, and he did a quick ultrasound to check the heartbeat--191 at 9w1d. All is good thankfully, and baby is starting to look more like a baby than a blob

Nausea now seems to come and go instead of being 24 hours, and I think I have accepted that it is ok and not a bad sign. The cramping is making me crazy though! No appts until my next OB appt Jan 3 and the NT scan Jan 7.

QOTW: We are definitely finding out. I would know already if I could! My idea is that DH and I will find out at the anatomy scan and then we do something special like a cake for DS (and maybe use a photo of him with it to tell the family). He really wants a sister, but there are so many boys in my family that I think this one being a boy too. DH is convinced it is a girl.

Hi Everyone! I'm 11 weeks today

I saw my OB on Tuesday and my appt went well. I was so happy to see baby moving around and even waved...hahaha. Heartbeat was 167. It's soooo nice to not have to do injections anymore. I just hope my PIO bumps go away. I've started to tell more people at work after my OB appt since I feel pretty relieved at this point. I started to have left sided pulling at the pubic bone area so I'm thinking this is ligament pain. It has been consistent this morning. I'm trying not to worry!
We have our family Christmas party tomorrow and will tell my family the great news. We plan to announce it during prayer.

Qotw: We definitely want to find out the sex. I'm thinking of doing a reveal cake for my parents

Late to the check in as usual. BUT baby is an 11w lime today -- so exciting! Things here are pretty good. I barely had any nausea in weeks 6-8 when a lot of people get it but now that I'm near the end of 1st trimester, it has definitely increased. No vomiting but definitely queasier in the last week than I have been yet and more gagging close calls! This week indigestion also showed up; there is a lot of burping, bloating and bubbliness over here. I'll take it.

QOTW: I am 35 and have had two miscarriages so we are doing the Mat21 test, and will find out baby's sex from that. Unfortunately due to the holidays I could not schedule that until January 8th (it was technically possible to do it earlier), but we should know in mid-January. We aren't planning anything in particular; I will probably just get a phone call from OB's office and then call my wife to tell her. Not sure if we will do anything special to tell family.

I hit 12 weeks this week and it gives me some ease in nerves. Symptoms come and go from day to day and I never know what the day will bring. Usually actual sickness comes in the middle of the night.

I had my first GD teaching appt this week and it went well, though the diet itself is kind of overwhelming. I've had to rethink how I cook (I do a lot of crockpot or one pot type meals). And no dessert really stinks this time of year!

I see the ob Thursday and have my NT scan on Friday, so we get a chance to see this kiddo this week! (Though I am relatively petrified of a MMC).

QOTW - team green! We want the big surprise at the end.

I'm doing good. Wishing I could quit worrying all the time for no apparent reason. I have my NT scan this Friday, that will be my 5th ultrasound. Everything has looked great at each one.

QOTW: We are undecided! We were Team Green with DD and loved every minute of that. I figured maybe we should find out since this is our last pregnancy. Part of me wants to find out so I can get rid of some of DDs stuff if we have a boy. The other part of me wants to be surprised at the birth like we were last time. GAH!

Hi ladies! Can't believe I'll officially be second tri as of TOMORROW! Time seriously flies! But at least now I feel comfortable enough to start planning the nursery and buying things to get ready :-) I don't really have much to update, my next appt isn't until this upcoming Saturday, so maybe after that I'll have report. Otherwise my nausea is still at bay, and the exhaustion is more on-and-off instead of on all the time. I do feel A LOT of pressure in my lower abdomen now, so much that's I've had to adjust how I sleep! So I take that as a good sign that things are growing and moving as they should be.

QOTW: We are absolutely NOT finding out the baby's gender! I was always all about finding out, but after having gone through IVF and all that rigamarole I felt like this would be such a great surprise, and one of life's many BIG surprises. I'm so excited to find out and have DH announce "it's a boy/girl!" at the birth - such a priceless moment :x Also, the fact that we're not finding out is driving people totally nuts, it was annoying at first but now it's kinda hilarious so that's just an added bonus mwahahaha *evil laugh* lol.
