Would you be concerned?

I was doing errands with DS and he fell asleep in the car, which is pretty typical especially because it was close to his nap time. He'd been up off and on since 5 am, so I understood why he was sleepy, but he fell asleep HARD. It took me a minute or so to wake him up. He was whiny during the minute, so not unresponsive, and afterward he was totally energetic and fine. He's down for his nap now.

Is it hard for you to wake up your kid sometimes, or is this something I should be worried about?

Re: Would you be concerned?

  • Tucker is basically a 16 year old; I have to shake him and/or pick him up to get him to wake up quite regularly. I wouldn't be concerned, he must have just been really tired.

  • Thank you so much girls! He threw up randomly yesterday so now I'm on high alert for any weird behavior (he's fine now). Hopefully he'll have a nice normal nap and I can stop worrying about it.
