Were your first two similar birth weight/lengths?

Were you early with both, or late (past edd) delivering with both?

Just curious how similar #1 and #2 were as I await #2.

I was early with both 34 weeks with DD 4 pound 1 ounce, 36.6 with DS 6 pounds 1 ounce my goal with this one is of course full term but my DR is betting on around 37 weeks.

I'm waiting on #2, but I know with my
Mom #1 was 2 days late, 10lb even, #2 was 9 days early, 10lb10oz.

DS was 37w and 6lbs. DD was 39w5d and 6lbs15oz. I'm hoping #3 isn't over due and decides to come somewhere in between the other two.

#1 was 2 days past due date and 7'11.

#2 was 1 day past and 6'6.

Also, labour with #1 was 16 hours total with about 6 hours of that being hard labour. #2 I was having mild, timeable cramps for 3 hours, and went from 0 cm - 4 cm in that time (checked at am appointment, and when I arrived at the hospital). Nobody even believed I was in labour! At this point I had an "urgent" c/s because of DDs position.

40 weeks 1 day with my first two they were both 7 lbs and around 19 inches. So very similar

DD was a week early at 7lbs1oz, 19 3/4in, c/s
DS was 4 days early at 8 lbs13oz, 21 in, VBAC

It's no wonder I was so much bigger with him-he was nearly 2lbs heavier!

DS was 40w2d and 7 lbs 13 oz 21 inches long - and I had gestational diabetes

DD was 39 weeks (induced because of shoulder dystocia during DS delivery) and no gestational diabetes and 7 lbs even 19 inches long - so I think pretty similar in size considering girls are supposedly a little smaller than their brothers anyway and she was born a week earlier.

DS1 was born at 35 weeks and weight 5 lbs 13 oz. DS2 was born at 33 weeks and was 6 lbs 1 oz. Both pregnancies and labors were very similiar, # 2 started cervical action earlier so was in preterm labor for longer, had a shorter actual delivery and recovery was pretty much the same.

My first came at 36w 5d and was 8lbs even and 21" my second was 9 days past due and was 7lbs 1oz and 19" long.

#1 born at 36w 3d: 5lbs, 12oz.
#2 born at 36w 6d: 5lbs, 10oz.

I don't remember the lengths but I'm sure they were similar. They were also both born on a Wednesday around noon. We'll see if the pattern continues

DS 40w 1 day 20 inches 7 lb 8 oz

Eerily similar. Faster labor with #2. Like half as long. Hahaha.

Hoping for the same with this little bean!

#1 was a 12 hour induction with about 30/45 mins of pushing (and an epi) #2 was spontaneous labor at 39 weeks ( water broke) active labor was about 4, MAYBE 5 hours and only 2 pushes (he was a really long baby at 22in. Lol)

DD1: Induced at 40w4d. 8lbs 6oz. 21" long. DD2: Spontaneous labor at 40w1d. 7lbs 11oz. 21" long. Hoping to have a due date baby, my edd is 4/4/14.

Jack- 11 days before dd. 7lbs 4oz. Labor 7.5 hours with 45 minutes pushing.

Charlie-12 days early before dd. 6lbs 13oz. Labor was 7 hours with 45 minutes pushing.

Hoping baby girl is just as easy.

Chloe (5) - born 12 days shy of her due date... 13 hrs labour including 44 mins pushing 8 lbs 3 oz, 21 inches

Nixon (2.5) - born on edd, 4 hours of labour including one contraction of pushing and he was born. 8lbs 8oz, 20 inches

DS1 was a week late, weighed over 10lbs.
DS2 came a week early due to his measuring larger than DS1. He weighed over 10lbs. as well.

I was induced with both, they were comfy in there!

Both were about the same length.
Delivery with DS1 was like going through war (it was AWFUL) and DS2 was like a walk in the park. I couldn't get over the difference!

I'm curious to see what happens with DS3!

I got induced with both of mine 5 days past due date. First was 8lb 5oz and my second was 7lb 12 oz.

My first came on her own at 38 weeks 6 days, weighing in at only 4 lbs 4oz. Length was 17 3/4 inches. I pushed 3 times and she was here. Total delivery time was 9 hours. My second came via emergency c-section at 38 weeks 2 days, weighing in at 6 lbs 15 oz. Length was 19 inches. Big difference. Edited to add birth stats.

DD was born on her due date and weighed 7 lbs 10 oz. DS was born one day before his due date and weighed 7 lbs 15 oz. Both were 20 inches. Pretty similar.

#1 single Boy was 41+ 8lbs. 15hours labor

#2 Twins Boys where 37wks 5.4lbs. & 5.13lbs, 6hours labor one natural one c/s

11 years later

#3 hoping for a vbac, but hospital is 3 hours from our home.

DS preterm labor, pills to stop it, then back labor at 38 weeks, broke water, took forever, 7lb 7oz
DD (#2) induced at 39 weeks, easy peasy, 7lb 5oz.

DD was early-term (39w)
DS I was overdue by 1 week (41w1d)

Also, labor was NOT shorter with DS. DD I had a quick, 4-hour labor. DS I had a 12 hour labor.

I was right on my due date with #1 and was induced with #2. I'm not counting on being super early with #3. God knows I'm chronically impatient so I think He is trying to cure me of that by making me waaaaait.

I was exactly 1 week early with both of my girls and they were both 6 lbs 10 oz. They were both born on the 28th of their birth months! Weird!

#1 I had him around 39 weeks 7.5oz , 22" long . I was in labor for about 8 hours with the worst contractions ever even with the epidural it was a really bad experience , so bad I was literally having anxiety thinking about the pain & going through labor again with #2.
#2 was 7 lbs and 20" long I carried her until 42 weeks 1 day before my scheduled induction & she came fast ! My mom made a 5 hour drive in 3 hours to make sure she got there in time because i was dialating so fast . The midwife checked me 1 last time and she'd be back in 20 to check on me , 5 min after that I felt her coming like uncontrollably about to pop out ! My mom rushed to get someone and I only had to push for 12 min : ) the pain wasn't nearly as bad as the first time because my body already knew what to do .
I'm hoping #3 is a breeze !
