Recc's for a kid's tool/work bench

I think we're going to get one of these for DS for Christmas. He loves mimic play. I bought him a play vacuum with a hand vac and now pretending to vacuum the house and all the furniture is his favorite game (I sure hope the love for vacuuming continues into his teenage years - HA!)

Anyhow, I'm just wondering if anyone has one of these tool benches or could recommend one you like. I'd like it to come with a variety of tools etc and not "break the bank" with regard to cost.

I recommend the Melissa and Doug project workbench from Amazon. It's $65- I don't know if that's above your budget.

NOt sure what's the "break the bank" budget... but I can tell you that we absolutely LOVE the "If I had a Hammer" wooden workbench from Land of Nod. https://www.landofnod.com/if-i-had-a-hammer-and-a-workbench/f617 It is excellent quality!

I saw one for sale on CL for $20 about 6 months ago. Sadly, DH sad no way b/c we don't have space to store it (DS was only 6m old then, and the bench is for 3+). In the end, I emailed my friend and she bought it. We go over to her house often and DS LOVES playing with the workbench. Even DH now regrets not getting it... he's even thinking of buying it brand new, perhaps next year when DS is 2.

I bought the Black & Decker Power Tools work bench off Amazon for $60. I liked the combination of battery operated and standard tools.

i saw one at costco for about $20. It was a really nice big black and decker kind.

I've been looking at these too. I saw a Home Depot one that was very flimsy. I don't think they are all like that though.

I don't know if my son will get it but when my MIL asked for a gift idea, I suggested the Little Tikes Workshop. I've seen it for anywhere between $30-40. The reviews are great and suggest it's geared toward a younger toddler and it's also pretty inexpensive.
