Song/Music that helps you?

I have always been really into music. I love all kinds, I would prefer  listen to music than watch TV or most any other activity. With my recent loss and really 2IF in general I have found some songs really powerful, touching or inspiring. I thought maybe we could share a song that has really helped us through some low times. Mine, lately, is "Roar" by Katy Perry. I heard it right after my D&C and started crying, maybe it was the meds and the hormones, but the lyrics really got to me. And now when I hear it I get all excited and hopeful for the fight ahead. What's your "power" song for IF?

  • I love classical { nerd alert}
    I like everything except most country (but I do enjoy Taylor Swift but, she's kinda a crossover)
    I've seen Aerosmith twice in concert and I've also seen tom petty and Metallica.
    But then I also enjoy Coldplay, Rhianna, Brittany Spears (I love "toxic" and "hold it against me")
    I like everything! My iPod is loaded because there is no way the measely 16 gigs on my phone could hold my music :)

  • I actually sing, so singing is a huge stress releif for me. I love pretty much all music. I prefer to sing country and blues/classic rock stuff.

    My most favorite song to sing is a song I sing to my daughter, it's by Martina McBride, "In my daughters eyes"

    I always tear up /and or cry when I sing it.
