I really want a tattoo to honor my baby girl after she gets here. Anyone have a mom tattoo that you can PIP for me? Or ideas that you have found and liked? I haven't completely decided on a style or design yet.
I have one of my baby girls name on my left wrist on the bottom of my wrist is her angel date. I did it to always have her with me. It is in a pretty cursive print. I absolutely love it.
I'd like to get another tattoo after the baby comes, but I'm not sure. My aunt has a tattoo on her shoulder (I forget what of) but she got three stars above it, one for each kid. I'd like to do something similar.
I want to get the infinity symbol with DS1 & 2 name as part of the lines. I will get it on my wrist. I've been waiting for #2 get a tattoo to represent my kids.
I've also been playing with the idea of having "sugar and spice and everything nice" tattooed somewhere with her name, birthdate, and a cupcake since cupcakes have some significance in my life.
I figure that I'll wait till we're done having kids, then get something that incorporates all of them. Not really sure what of. I have a big-ish Eye of Horus tattoo on my lower back and can't decide if I want something similar, or totally different.
This was my birthday present last year. This was taken a couple hours after getting it done. I actually plan on turning it into a huge sleeve with various children's book characters up to the knee.

I'm also going to add that maybe my date tattoo is a little boring but it was truly the best day of my life. I couldn't think of anything better to get than the actual date, since that date has so, so much significance to me.
I've heard of parents getting their children's first drawings tattooed on them. Obvs it isn't going to be a masterpiece, but sentimental and most likely discreet and simple. I won't be doing this, but just an idea
@amholley1 Giving Tree is the book we read to DS every night he was in the hospital. It's still one of his favorites so I figured it would be a great tattoo for him.

This is mine. The larger bird is for my DH and the two smaller for my first two babies gotta just add another and the the love is supposed to be similar to an infinity sign
I already know I want something, but I think I am going to wait until we are done having kids and then get something to incorporate all of them.
MH and I also have "wedding" tattoos, although they aren't quite matchy-matchy. We got married in Hawaii, so we both have Hawaiian tattoos.
I also have 2 others. One was my first and I am not totally in love with it. The other is shamrocks that I got with MH and my Grandma. My Grandma got her shamrock tattoo at 80 years old after surviving breast cancer, so we all got inked together.
I've been thinking a lot about it as well.. Don't know yet but I'd love for it to match with the ones I have now... Maybe next to my anchor tattoo on my arm.. I'm not sure >.< Maybe the typical date of birth tattoo... But got to think of something clever with that one )

BFP - October 2015

I am planning on Getting the infinity symbol with My kids Initials incorporated into one loop, and my Hs initials and our Wedding date in the other.
I have a lotus Flower on my back shoulder With the Gaelic word for Hope underneath it which is a nod to my Hs Irish heritage, since he is my rock, and really helped me to get through the really bad days. I don't want to incorporate anything into it because it symbolizes me overcoming my abusive family and past and growing up and out of it, and the one I want is about our future.
