Nausea question from an Aug Momma

Hi! This is my second baby so youd think Id know the answer to my own question but I honestly dont remember so thought you could give some insight.

When did your nausea start to get better in first tri? I am planning a trip in Jan which is towards the end and wondering if going at week 12 vs week 10 will make a big difference?

Ditto the PP. I have had zero nausea so far but my best friend has nausea the entire time she was pregnant. It will vary for every person.

For me, weeks 6-8 were the worst. By 10-11 I was pretty much all better!

At this point I still gag a little when I brush my teeth, and sometimes right when I wake up... Haven't vomited at all.

Mine was at it's height between weeks 6-10. It's been waning since week 10, but not gone completely.

You know what they say, though... every pregnancy is different..

Everyone is different. Last time I was sick weeks 7-17 but 10-11 were the worst. This time 11 was horrendous and I've been feeling better so far in week 12 until today.

It's really tough to say. I felt like I started feeling better around 11.5 weeks, but I am now 14+ and still taking my Zofran multiple times a day and throwing up anyways. Currently traveling this week and it's been rough on my body but would hVe been much worse a month ago.

I'm at week 14 and still puking every other day, despite medication. If you're among the lucky ones to get to second tri and have your nausea magically disappear, you're better off waiting until 12 weeks, I guess, but really, it's impossible to say if there will be much of a difference at all.

I wasn't terribly nauseous until weeks 10-12 and I'm still nauseous

I started to feel better at week 15, Im still getting sick and taking zofran but it's a world of difference from when it was REALLY bad

For me nausea was moderate 8-10 and the worst at 11 weeks. After that it tapered off to just occasional.

With both of my pregnancies I had pretty bad morning sickness until 15-16 weeks. So yeah...mine is still happening.

Everyone is different, but with my own personal experience.. Week 12 was WAY better than week 10. Week 10 I still needed food every hour to curve the nausea, but week 12 I can go a few hours and feel great!

I had one bad week at 8 weeks. Then I thought I would be done. I am halfway through 12 weeks now and have been even sicker all week. I think everybody's body is different, and every pregnancy is different, so unfortunately you probably won't be able to predict it. But just because you feel better early on... doesn't mean it won't come back and hit you with a vengeance at the end of the 1st trimester... Good luck though!

I am 15 weeks and still suffering, although it is more intermittent now.

10 weeks vs 12 weeks would have made a pretty big difference to me. I was still suffering at 12 weeks but it was more
manageable at that point.
