s/o citrus rash

in November 2012 Moms
we had noticed baby girl getting red splotches around her chin and/or lips and concluded MAYBE she was showing a slight nut allergy and decided no more nuts this year and be vigilant.... now I am wondering if it could be either citrus OR tomatoes (both of which she eats daily) .... I guess its time to try tobreak it down..

    Yup. Tomato is acidic too.
    But I'd think you'd see a bum reaction too if she is reacting to an acidic food.

    @surpriseat39 now that you mention it she has had a diaper rash.....hmmmmmm

    Yup.
    Lay off the citrus and tomatoes for a while, see if it clears up.
    If it does, slowly reintroduce them.

    DD used to get horrible blisters and we didn't know why. I was still breast feeding but I was chugging grapefruit juice and orange juice like mad. She was reacting due to her psoriasis.

    Took a biopsy to figure it out.

    I have been eating fresh mandarin oranges like crazy. D loves the smell of them and always wants some. Then I noticed his poor bum was covered in a rash. Same happened after he was born. I was chugging OJ constantly and he got a bum rash.  Now I have to sneak my mandarin's to keep him from trying to eat them all.
