We had ours done today! Here's LO!

Funny story: my mom wanted to know why he was bumpy. I've explained this before to her, I think she thinks I'm having a bumpy baby.

same here!! she was covering her face, smooshing it into the placenta, and turning away. I'm going back in 2 weeks when she's a little bigger to try again.

These are soo sweet! Thanks for sharing, ladies! We're getting excited for our ultrasound on 12/17. We'll be 30 wks. Nice to kind of have a heads up on what to expect!

@btwilhelm I'm 29w4d and they said she was too little. they recommend 27-32 weeks but every baby is different. my sister went at 32 weeks and her baby was too big so all of her pictures were smooshed. I'm going back at 31 weeks to try again as the tech said 30-32 weeks is really optimal.

We didn't have an elective 3d ultrasound, but when I was I'm L&D with BH the us tech was sweet enough to snap some 3d pics of LO while checking on baby and my cervix. This was at 25 weeks. LO looks just like MH already and definitely has his nose.

ETA: I love seeing all these baby pics. Gets me so excited for what's coming up!

Awww does the insurence cover the 3d pics? Or do u pay for it? I'm 31 weeks and 1 day n I've never had a 3 d before

I paid for mine, if you get an elective one you generally have to pay for it. If the tech at your doctor's office switches over to 3D for diagnostic purposes or because they're being nice then it's covered, but not at the elective places. @dollymarie

@Dollymarie I got mine done for free because I am doing local study. I'm not sure if it would be too late for you to look into this - but I have gotten a few free ultrasounds from it!

The only bonus for being high risk this pregnancy is a lot of ultrasounds and all of them have 3D. This is the latest one.

I got these today at 31w3d and I love her little smile, but the open eye creeps me out. I just can't wait for February now, these ultrasound photos made it all that more real!!

Here's our little girl from Thursday at 31w3d. She was estimated at 4lbs 2oz. We were there for over an hour, she was being stubborn and wouldn't show her full face. She had her head either in my ribs, in my placenta, or had her hands and legs all up in her face most of the time haha. We were able to see that she has a full head of hair

and looks like her big angel brother. We are in love!!! :x

So we went to the OB, but K was being a little stinker and kept hiding behind his placenta hat. We are trying again on monday, this time in the evening and after a large glass of juice.

31 weeks 4 days!! My squishy is a thumb sucker!!! I am so in love! My 9yo SD came with us and it was so amazing watching the look on her face. She is a sweetheart and loves her baby sister so much. It was a really awesome family moment and I'm pretty convinced I am growing the cutest kid ever.

We had our scan on Tuesday. She was pretty insistent on having her hands over her face until the tech and I jiggled my tummy. Lol These are the two we got. Sooo so in love with her! I think she definitely has Daddy's mouth, and my nose!
