Cramping

So two nights ago I awoke with strong cramping and was crying/whining in my half asleep state because of it.  This happened a lot my last PG before I had my loss, and I could tell DH was worried. (I got up to use the bathroom and he asked me if I there was any spotting, LOL) .  Anyhow, I had a backache yesterday and mild cramping most of the day. I called the dr. and they are getting me in for a quick U/S tomorrow just for my reassurance. My OB said what I am going through is "completely normal" but she understands my worry. I am not horribly worried or anything, I think DH is more worried than me. But I have been cramping all day today as well. Just wondering how much everyone else is cramping at this stage (9 weeks)?


BFP #1 ended in MMC. Discovered Oct 2005 @10w5d, baby stopped growing around 6w. D&C.
BFP#2 Nov 2005. Baby's heart stopped @ 8w3d. D&C Jan 2006. Trisomy 18
BFP#3 Nov 2006. My "miracle baby" DD born 7/25/07
BFP #4 11/6/12. EDD 7/16/13~my birthday! No sac found @ 5w1d, betas not increasing. Natural m/c started 11/20/12.

BFP#5 11/9/13.  EDD 7/21/14  Our beautiful rainbow born on his due date!!

    I had cramping on and off for most of this pregnancy, most of it was pretty mild, but it was there enough to make me worry. I believe that mightymousy had a lot of cramping as well, and she now has her healthy baby. 

    It makes sense why you would worry though, and I'm glad that your doctor is being so great about it. Good luck at your u/s!

    I had cramping off and on during first tri. Glad your provider is getting you in. Good luck at your appointment!!

    I feel like I cramp fairly often (I'm 11 weeks). I noticed a bit of a decline in weeks 7-8, and then they picked back up around week 9. I continue to tell myself that my ute has to stretch for baby! I know it's said over and over, but make sure you're drinking plenty of water. I do notice more cramping/twinges when I haven't drank as much as usual. (((HUGS))). Good luck with your US tomorrow!

    @Qfrump Ugh, my gas smells so bad. I told DH it's his fault. Part of him is in me and is causing this horrendous smell.

    I had cramping during the 1st tri and continue to have it well into the 2nd tri. I hope you get some reassurance with the ultrasound.

    That is scary and I am sorry it's freaking you out. I think it is probably normal, and I know I had a ton of cramping around 9-10 weeks and it seemed like way more than normal but it wasn't anything. So glad your doctor can fit you in to check on things!

    I can totally relate to the fears about cramping. I had a few days of decent cramping right around 9 weeks as well. FX for a good u/s.

    I had a lot of cramping during my healthy pregnancy. My doctor told me as long as there is no spotting and it's not worse than a regular average period then it's normal. If the pain is very intense or there is spotting then I was to call him.
