T&P's request

I have been having a rough few weeks and could any extra thoughts people could spare. DD is still not eating well and gaining enough weight. Last week my Dad had surgery to remove his prostate after they found cancer cells. Well this week they got the pathologist report and found that the cancer has spread to the muscle around the prostate. Now he is gonna have to start radiation next month. Then last night we found out that my husbands aunt was hit by a car and killed in a walmart parking lot. Not sure how much more I can handle right now.

I'm so sorry. I hope things start looking up for you soon. My dad also had prostate cancer, and it spread after his prostatectomy. He may be looking at radiation also. I'll keep y'all in my prayers.

Oh my goodness. I am SO very sorry to hear that all of this is happening at once. I don't know what it is about the holiday season, but for some reason, it seems to bring more bad news than good. Maybe it's because the higher power knows families are together more during this season and have each other for support?

Either way, again, I am sorry and will pray that your LO will gain weight and your dad's treatment goes well. Try not to worry too much about LO's weight. Chloe took forever to get back to her birth weight and eventually it all worked out. I hate how they go off of the charts so much!

I was just thinking...I know you said that they have her on special formula for spit up, but could you try the gassy baby formula and see if that helps instead? That is what worked for us. I have some Emfamil Gentlease if you would like to try some to see if that works for you? It's worth a shot. PM me and let me know. Big hugs to you!
