Hi Ladies,, Just a quick update that my #5 arrived a week ago, Dec 9 at 30w2d due to PPROM. He was 3lb8oz and 16 inches long.
He's in the NICU and they only timeframe they are giving me is through his due date of Feb 15.
He's having some difficulty with his oxygen levels but is up to 18cc's on his feeds now and hope to be weaned off his IV's and picc line in a couple more days. He's gaining a little weight and his bilirubin levels are normal at this point. The best news was that his 7 day brain scan came back normal with no bleeds no injuries.
I had to deliver him as an emergency VBAC double footling breech without meds as his feet were already "there" and it was too far along to put me under.
The stress of managing the household with my older ones has been tough. As soon as I got home from the hospital, everyone started getting ill to various degrees. As of yesterday, my primary care diagnosed me with walking pneumonia and it's been since last Sunday that I've been able to go the NICU because of babysitter arrangements, and now due to this crud, it will be Sunday again before I get to see him. That part is really hard right now as we'd just started skin-to-skin on Friday before this all started. I miss him so much.
Thanks for all of the support throughout this pregnancy. I'll admit, the craziness of my twin's deliveries and brief NICU stays somewhat prepared me for this or I would have cracked by now.
I will mostly be a wall flower on here unless it's pump time.

Thanks for the encouragement!
The twins have now developed diarrhea and horrible rash that we can't determine if it's viral or from "Grandma's Spoil the Kids Rotten while mommy's away" diet. They feel so poorly they are super clingy, which is to be expected even if they were healthy, but they are really acting out while I pump and are trying their "bestest" to pull down the Christmas tree and make my walls look like Elmo's World.
Little Guy's Picc line was removed last night and he was able to wear jammies for the first time. DH got to hold him for the first time. He's up to 3 ounces over his birthweight!
