A Quick Hello!

Hi ladies,
I wanted to introduce myself (I noticed other moms doing it and I apologize for being so late to the game!) and say hello. I am due around January 24th, possibly closer to the February side, with a little boy named Ethan Karl (Karl was my dad's name. He passed away in May this year after battling AML). I am so thrilled to be a mom, especially because it took me some time to wrap my head around the pregnancy and get comfortable talking about it with people (my husband and I lost our first last September). I am a Kindergarten teacher, which I love, but it requires a lot of shoe tying, which is not so fun lately 
. I am also blessed to be an aunt to the cutest niece in the whole world (I'm biased!!!) who was born back in July. Something that I have really enjoyed during my pregnancy is that two of my best friends are expecting in March, so it has been fun to look forward to all the play dates coming up

Oh and i don't even know how you are tying other people's shoes. I can barely be held responsible for my own these days! And I most certainly have the cutest nephew in the world so I understand where you are coming from on that part too.

After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
Sorry for the loss of your father. I think it's neat you're honoring him in your son's name.
