a vent within a vent

vent 1- So tired of people telling me what i'm doing wrong my little one is 5 weeks and lately has been fussy and wants to sleep on my chest which i don't mind even though its hard to do to much but i know its temporary before this week he slept just fine anywhere else. Now everyone is telling me its my fault and i'm spoiling him and to just let him cry! 

vent 2- MIL keeps telling me something is wrong with my son! He makes a noise hes in pain, he sneezes hes sick, he has diarrhea, i appreciate her love and concern and even though i knew nothing was wrong because he was in no way fussy or crying or showing any other symptoms to calm her nerves i took him in to the doctors twice to which they confirmed everything was excellent. Which she just says doctors don't know anything. And now makes my husband freak out a tells him to make me take him to the doctor. We are FT Parents so things are scary and new already having someone tell me constantly hes sick is nerve wrecking!

    Even us ft moms have instincts and as my OB always told me when I was pregnant, moms spend 24/7 with their baby for 9 months, so we know our baby better than anybody.
    As several ladies on here reminded me a while ago, you can't spoil your baby. If he wants to sleep on you, then so be it. My 5 week old DD is currently napping on me right now, as she does everyday.

    My DD is 4 1/2 weeks old. She nurses on demand and sometimes it feels like she's attached to a boob constantly. People tell me she must not be getting enough or that I feed her too much. She's gained almost 3lbs since birth and I actually had someone tell me that my milk must be too rich for her and to give her water... She also sleeps in bed with me at night and naps on me during the day.
