Another OAD Perk

Dh is an only. I have a sister who happens to be single. We never have to take turns traveling to each other's houses or putting together huge dinners. When I listen to the itineraries of people with large families, I am so thankful for my small family. ILs are traveling down from Maine. They even asked if we can order pizza from our local place that they love for Christmas Eve. It doesn't get any easier than that!

    Nice! My DH has family but he is only really close to his younger brother. His Dad isn't around and his Mother passed away when he was younger. I hate that he didn't have the family upbringing like I did, but I must admit it's nice not having to split our time between a bunch of people. His brother always travels to see us, and the only traveling we do is driving two and a half hours to see my family.
