I'm totally blanking on what to get DH for christmas this year and he is not giving me any leads! Just curious what you ladies are doing for your DH/SO this year!?

We're just doing stocking stuffers because we decided to spend all of our money on DS. :P

Although I did get him a new baking mat "from DS". My hubby is the baker in the house, not me.

For the stocking I got him a travel-size corkscrew, a grill Christmas ornament, some 2 in 1 aftershave/lotion, a gift card to "Froyo World" and some boxers (a tradition I do every year).

I got mine a new pair of shoes, a Norleco electric shaver, new fishing gear since all of our tackle was lost in the last move--box included, and a new scope for our AR-15.

I got him a good pair of binoculars for hunting. We usually only get each other 1 or 2 gifts. Which is a good thing, because we're both terrible at thinking of gift ideas for the other person to get!

My husband is impossible to shop for. I kept asking him what he wants and he wouldnt give me anything. Then all of the boxes started showing up at the house. Who the freak buys stuff for themselves in December. I wanted to punch him in the face. So I took one of the boxes, wrapped it and put it under the tree (work boots). Then today I finally thought of something for him. We just moved close to the beach and he has been talking about saltwater fishing. I went and got his fresh and salt water fishing license, a new tackle box and a gift card so he can get a new fishing rod and whatever else he will need. Im excited because he thinks he is just getting the work boots so he is going to be completely surprised!

I don't usually exchange with DH, but this year I saved up to surprise him and got him a backpack he's been wanting for months now. I'm very excited to give it to him!

I got toooo much. Lol like eight boxed toys from the early nineties, a subscription to play station plus, a couple other things, and loot crate. He's so difficult this time of year though! I almost hate giving him gifts because he pretty much declares what he wants, always knows what he's getting because he's so pushy about it. And everything he wants is expensive. Eh:/ learning how to say no, or atleast "be patient and stop hassling me cause you'll get what you get" butttt, he's his own stubborn ass brand of person. Ya. It actually makes me mad to realize I spent so much on him, And then he (knowing all the shit he pushed me into getting him) made it crystal clear to me that I won't be getting anything nearly as extravagant, lmao

I'm not so very materialistic, but it's like... Really? Lol. How romantic?

I think next year I'm gonna come up with a less expensive meathod of giving him a merry Christmas.

Lol @SidraJedi! I think this is DH's gift too.

I wanted to get him this meat and cheese smoker he's been covering for years, but then we had to replace the radiator in the van twice, get a new washer and dryer, replace E's car seat after the accident... And there went our entire a Christmas budget. We've been scrounging to get the kids the things they needed and wanted. But we've made it! And we still managed to set off enough to go back home after Christmas!

He says he wants a new universal remote control or a pair of sunglasses. So I am divided on that. I got him a clothes basket because his clothes are all over the place. I also got him some socks as a stocking stuffer, as well as a gift certificate to a local beer making store (he actually makes amazing beer). I still plan on buying him a new warm toque and some almond bark. Maybe a new tshirt or so. Just depends on how much time I get to go shopping this week. We are down to one vehicle since my accident.

I got him a heater for his garage/workshop. He was supposed to get a wood stove in this year, but some work issues left him no time to install it. I also got hima bobble head for his desk. Last night, he whined about wanting a leather coat, so I said we couldn't afford it, and bought one online today. I still need to buy him some work clothes and candy for his stocking.
