I remember back before I got pregnant how I could sleep a solid 8 hours without having to pee, slept on my belly, wore tank tops and looked good, my gums didn't bleed, I rarely got angry, ENJOYED sex, could watch commercials without bawling and could stay up past 10pm.
Not saying I dont enjoy being pregnant and making a tiny human but it's amazing how much has changed.

I remember when food actually tasted good and I loved chocolate! Now nothing sounds appetizing and the only chocolate I ever want is ice cream. We always have a basket full of chocolate at work that I used to get a couple pieces almost every day but I haven't gone near that thing in months lol. Never thought anything would turn me off of chocolate!

This is true!!!! I remember when I could stay up past 9pm, sleep through the night without having to pee, eat spicy food without getting heartburn, sleep with fuzzy pj's. I get to hot at night. I do enjoy being pregnant but I do kinda miss all the little things like that.

I remember when I could have a conversation with my MIL and not get so defensive, skip putting lotion on in the morning and not feel like an itchy mess... and also when my digestive system functioned more regularly:-)

However I believe this is totally worth it, just not what I expected, I'm a FTM and a little naive. So excited to have a baby!

I remember when I could button my pants, socialize with friends without getting super annoyed once it hits 9pm, wake up in the am without a sore back, and overall not feeling like I have to have everything "ready" in my life. Feeling so blessed and excited, but still overwhelmed at times by all the changes to come!

I remember when I could stay awake past 9 pm, eat a full meal and not be hungry again 2 hours later, and leave a pair of pants on all day long without thinking how the waist band is bothering me every 10 mins LOL

I remember when my belly was flat and DH received a budoire pic once in a while

I also remember getting along with my in laws and not being so moody all the time!!! But I I had no boobs and now that I do I love it! I also love knowing DH and I made a baby and I love it more every day!

I remember when it wasn't so hard to find clothes. Nothing fits and the selection of maternity clothes in my crumby area is horrible. I also remember when figuring out what to eat was hard because everything sounded good, now nothing at all sounds good. And I remember when H didn't annoy me so much. Literally everything he does annoys the crap out of me.

I remember when I actually had control of my emotions and didn't cry at every sappy thing I see or hear or fly off the handle at the slightest change in routine...I feel like I'm PMS'ing 24/7 nowadays...

I remember when I could form coherent sentences when talking at work without stopping midway and going.... uh.... huh.... where was I?

Or when I could just get up and take a shower and go to work, not have to get up, lay in bed 30 mins to settle the tummy, eat slowly, wait another 30 mins to make sure it doesn't come back up, then shower.

I also remember being able to shake off a stressful day by jumping on my bike for a 20 mile ride. I miss that

Overall though, no complaints. It's just different

@Thatkelsgirl - all of the ones you mentioned! Every last one.

The two I immediately thought of are actually positives... I remember when I didn't have as many things to ask my mom for advice on, but now she is my go-to person for every little question and exciting moment and we have gotten so much closer.

Also, I remember when I still had to scoop the cats' litter boxes. Not anymore... mwahaha!!

(This year, a Lady Gaga concert 4.5 hrs from home w my best friend for our birthdays a month before my due date!) But I decided I'm going to tough it out and have fun, because that's the type of mother I want to be when the baby actually comes! (Such grand plans!)

I remember my pre-pregnancy nipples. Not that I don't appreciate what amazing nutrition-giving sources they are morphing into, but my nipples used to be so cute!

I remember getting a full, uninterrupted 8 hrs of sleep. Being able to "hold it" and not have to run to the bathroom every 5 min. I remember a flat stomach and plenty of energy for working out and loving it! I remember a normal appetite and a healthy/busy sex life with DH.

But I wouldn't trade what I am experiencing for anything in the world. Feeling very blessed!

Wine, cigarettes, lattes, not covering my stomach when I take my clothes off, non chapped lips, an unstuffed nose, rarely having gas, staying up past 10, and being flirted with bc I looked cute/didn't have a fat face
