Swimming

We're taking DD to an indoor waterpark on Sunday. She loved swimming in the pool over the summer and typically used a small raft with a canopy. At the water park, DD will probably play in the zero depth toddler area with fountains. We'll do the lazy river together and maybe some slides. My question is, do you think that DD needs a floatie/life vest? We're planning on being pretty hands on while we're there and she will never be left unattended.

I would do a vest or a water sling like PP mentioned. Also if it is a water park you might call and ask if they have vests/safety gear at the park or for rental. I think we paid around 20.00 for D's vest.

It was summer when we last went and the vest was too big for her and would kind of smother her when shed get in the water. So we went in the lazy river and just held her while she was sitting on her mesh floatie. But now with her activeness i doubt it would work. But for the toddler area, no.

I'd take a float just so you don't have to hold her the whole time. Call ahead some water parks will not let you use any flotation devices.
