How are things going with your job situation? Did they end up cutting your hours like that? Been thinking of you and hope a solution is in your future!

Ya they actually did cut my hours. I'm at 15 he's for the next two weeks, so far. And to make this weeks check worse, the did a last minute change on my schedule to where I was supposed to work yesterday instead of Friday. And no one called to let me know or checked to see why I hadn't come. They're just gonna count it as no call no show.

I'm just baffled by their explanation.

"There are no guaruntees for your hours"

I am the original aprons girl. The only reason they even brought te other chick in was to cover the last ten hours they wouldn't LET me do cause they refuse to hire full time here. Weekend for aprons is 10-7 and week is 3-8. So the other girl, Bonnie, is getting more aprons hours now that I'm giving her weekends so SO can do side work. Yet apparently she refuses to let me have Monday and Friday?

So it's like, if there are no guaruntees, why is she getting a choice In this and I'm not. Mind you, they know I have a son to support all her kids are grown, she's in her fifties and is quite settled.

Something is massively wrong here. Still looking for a replacement job. But florida is horrible for employment.

Still tryin to look for that silver lining though!!

Just an add on, the only thing I'm trained for is aprons. She can also be scheduled as a cashier since that's what she's ways done here. Apparently she's trying to be the full time aprons lady.
