  Ok, so I offered to go and we could make it a date night even though I am super tired and this couch is my best friend at the moment. My husband says that he will go and its ok if I just want to rest...but now I feel bad, but I REALLY want to eat this food!!!

  Your DH sounds wonderful... I'd say let him do it! I don't think men are like women in that way: men don't offer to do things hoping we'll say no.
