Re: Monday Poll (for the bored like me)
1) Number of auto accidents you have been in? Number where you were the driver? 7 accidents, and I was the driver in 4. BUT that was over a 21 year period.
2) What was the best concert you ever went to (who and when)? I would have to say it is a tie - Frank Sinatra back in the early 90s (I took my Italian Great Grandfather to see him) and BareNaked Ladies, also in the early 90's
3) What CD would your friends be surprised you own? Empire, by Queensryche. I am not known for my metal bands, but I DO love me my Queensryche.
4) What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your family still talks about? I would say urinate and deficate instead of pee or poo. Infact, I would tell my parents that EXACTLY what I had to do when I needed to go "Mommy, I need to urniate" at the ripe old age of 3.
Don't ask me where I learned the words.....
5) If you could attend any college, free of charge, what college would that be and what would your major be? I would love to get certified as a Search and Rescue dog handler, with a cadaver dog. It takes time and money....1) Number of auto accidents you have been in? Number where you were the driver? Had a couple near misses and a run in with a mailbox but that's it.
2) What was the best concert you ever went to (who and when)? Never been

5) If you could attend any college, free of charge, what college would that be and what would your major be? Either the culinary institute of America or the NY Restaurant school, either way Pastry Arts.
btw, Ilumine, you're needed in my rant post.
Click me, click me!
1) Sadly, 4 where I've been the driver and NONE were my fault. I'm just LUCKY! lol...
2) I have only been to a couple concerts - both were decent...Kenny Chesney and another one where there were a bunch of different bands/singers. Probably 3 and 5 yrs ago?
3) I don't know - I haven't bought a CD in a long time now lol...
4) My mom always tells a story, where, right after I learned to walk, they ordered a pizza with mushrooms on it and I held onto the side of the kitchen table and picked every single mushroom off the pizza and ate them all. My parents just sat and watched to see how far I'd go - I ate every last one.
5) I would honestly have to think about that a little more - I just want to finish my degree at this point, which I plan to do online, starting in Aug. I wouldn't mind UC Santa Barbara or something though - beautiful out there! Plus I'm from CA.
1) Number of auto accidents you have been in? Number where you were the driver? Actually some lady backed into me yesterday grrrr. Oh well- but that's the one and only!

1) Number of auto accidents you have been in? Number where you were the driver?
Two. Both I was the driver. One was my fault, the other I got rear ended badly. Almost totalled my car.
2) What was the best concert you ever went to (who and when)?
I've been to countless concerts and music is a huge love of mine that it's so hard to name my favorite - Lyle Lovett, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, The Stones, Jack Ingram, Jon Dee Graham, Charlie Robison, all of which have left an indelible mark on me. But my all time favorites are the small venues where you can be right up front, sing with the band, and party with them afterwards.
3) What CD would your friends be surprised you own?
I don't own cd's anymore. I've gone to itunes. And it's tecnically my husbands, but they'd be surprised to know I have some Big & Rich & Toby Keith, and Kenny Chesney because they know how I loathe not just them, but Top 40 Country Radio.
4) What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your family still talks about?
My uncle brought home his girlfriend for us to meet. I was like 10 or something. He had been in Vietnam and part of his tour was in Italy. I knew this because we would write him letters and send him drawings. I eyeballed her ring, and said I liked it. She took it off and showed it to me and I'm checking it out, and my uncle tells me that he gave it to her, and for some goofy reason, I say, "Yeah, I know." and he asks, "How do you know?" "Because it says right here it came from Hong Kong, Italy!" Boy did they laugh at me. My uncle still tells that damn joke.... Whenever I'm around him and I or someone asks where someone got something, he will chime right up and say he or they got it Hong Kong, Italy.
5) If you could attend any college, free of charge, what college would that be and what would your major be?
I'd do what I wished I would have done as an 18 year old. Gone to a school in Montana, or Idaho, or Wyoming in the middle of all that beauty and just lived a fun, carefree life thru college. I would do the same thing I did 20 years ago, but I'd get my Masters in Art and Interior Design. Then I'd teach.
1. 2 accidents, both minor with no damage to the vehicles. I was the driver in one.
2. I still love the memories from my first concert. I was a total country gal, and my mom sent me to see the Judds when I was 12 with some other girls. It was their first "final" concert tour.
I also love any concert featuring my grandpa.
3. No one would be surprised at any of them. My CD collection ranges from Eminem to Kidz Bop and Yo Yo Ma to Weird Al.
4. When I was two, I backed my butt up to a toy car and said I was putting gas in it.
5. Wow, I think I have been blessed in that I did attend the schools of my choice. I always joked about attending law school in Malibu or the U.S. Virgin Islands, so maybe if I had it to do over again, I'd go there and get out of this -4 weather.
1) Number of auto accidents you have been in? Number where you were the driver? 3- I was only a driver in one, and it was not my fault as I was rear-ended about 2 months ago
2) What was the best concert you ever went to (who and when)? Benefit concert for 9/11 for the Pentagon. It was in DC, a month after 9/11 and lasted about 12 hours-over 20 performers including Aerosmith, Destinys Child, James Brown, mariah Carey, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Usher, Michael Jackson, Bette Midler, and so many more. It was a very powerful and moving day.
3) What CD would your friends be surprised you own? I can't think of any.
4) What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your family still talks about? I was just a dork in general, and that is still entertaining to talk about
5) If you could attend any college, free of charge, what college would that be and what would your major be? I think I would take any, and my history would def. be American History.2) What was the best concert you ever went to (who and when)? oh boy quite a few. I have to say the best was Peter Gabriel - he had this awesome back up band from Africa. They sang in chorus - the most beautiful music and voices I have ever heard. My best friend invited me.
3) What CD would your friends be surprised you own? I was a big metal head in High School. However I never let them know.
4) What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your family still talks about? My sisters and I were really close. When I would act up they would wrestle me and bite my butt through my pants. (We were all in elementary and junior high)..... we were weird. Anyway we were in the elevator leaving our apartment and this neighbor teenager pulled my pigtails and I told him "stop or I'll bite your butt".
5) If you could attend any college, free of charge, what college would that be and what would your major be? I wanted to go to UCLA and work with dolphins.1) Number of auto accidents you have been in? Number where you were the driver? 0, thank goodness
