Kitchen Aid Mixer for baby food?

Are there good attachments to make baby food with the mixer?

Re: Kitchen Aid Mixer for baby food?

  • I have the grinder attachment that was supposed to also make baby food. I found that my immersion blender worked much better and got a smoother consistency. I might try the grinder again but that's been my experience so far. The blender was also easier to clean.

  • Ok, so the immersion blender worked better--good to know. I used a small baby blender from TRU for my first and it worked well but it's small.

    Thanks!

  • Hmmm...  Never tried it.  I do make a carrot souffle where I cook the crap out of them and puree them in my mixer.  It does a really good job with that so I'd say give it a whirl.  No harm if you already have the mixer.

I'd put a Movember mustache fail, but then
you'd all have to look at it until February.

I've heard these are the best so I asked my mom for one for Christmas. We use a magic bullet and it sucks.
