AW - wish me luck

I know most people on this bmb are probably past this, but tonight is LO's 1st night in his crib. It happened by accident, he wouldn't sleep in his swing & I couldn't handle his tantrum so DH took over and put him down in there and, well, here we are. Feels weird to have our room to ourselves, lol. I don't know what I think could go wrong, but I'm nervous anyway. Wish me luck.

We aren't "past that" yet. DS2 is still in our room. He will be moving into his room on January 24 (5 months).

I have no idea why 5 months is so significant to me. I think only because that's when we moved DS1 and it went well for us.

We're 5 months tomorrow and stil back and forth. It's still wierd to have out room to ourselves!

Good luck!!! LO has been in her crib since she was 8 weeks old (when she outgrew the napper attachment on the PNP), and I was a nervous wreck the first night, but everyone slept better with her in her own room. I love our video monitor - I check on her throughout the night with it and can always hear when she wakes up.

Good luck! We are in the process of transitioning out of the napper to the bassinet of the pnp before heading to the crib. She wakes up a lot more now that she is laying flat. When she gets used to it, we will move her to her room.

We are slowly making the transition now. I'm going to start with naps in his crib and once that's going well, and our monitor arrives, we'll start putting him in there at night. I wish DH would let me cosleep with LO well into his teens! Haha!

I'm jelly of everyone who has the LO in the other room. DD2 is in our room as we only have a 2 bedroom house. I don't want DD2 waking up DD1 sooooo.... it may be forever.

Ohhh we are so not past this! LO is in the pnp in our room, waking up every 1.5-2 hrs! Not sure if its the sleep regression, laying flat with so much room, no swaddle...{sigh}

Hope it went well!

DS is stuck with us until the spring when we replace all the windows and fill the walls with extra spray foam insulation. For now, he's perfectly content next to mommy

Thanks everyone, it went great! I had been getting him used to napping in there for a few weeks, so I guess that helped. He didn't even cry whence got up, just a little chatter to let me know he's up. And I won't even say how long he slept, y'all might hate me, but it was good.
