Naming baby

Hi mommies
This is my first child and the dad ran once I told him I was pregnant. Anyway I'm loving the name Jacobi! Which his name is Jacob and I'm Jasmine. I would really like to keep the "J" thing going.I'm not really sure if I want to name my child after him seeing that he left and I have spoken to him since 10/11/13. I feel like hell feel as if I'm giving him the upper had, which is not the case. What should I do?

    Go with what you like. Bd name is benjamin, nn ben. Ds name is bentley. I didnt name him for bd. I have liked the name bentley for awhile.

    Anyways, if you cant get past the jacob/jacobi thing the ladies on the baby names board will have suggestions im sure. But at the end of the day if its a real name, spelled correctly i say go for it.

    Name the baby whatever you want to name him.  He's your baby.  :)  Your BD has no say in what your DS name will be so pick out what you think will suit him best.

    Sounds like you have lots of time to choose a name you like.  The harder part might be deciding what last name to give your LO.
