Baby boy named Kylan...........so many weird K names lately!

Re: What is with the letter K?

  • There are so many great, traditional names that start with K. Why make up a new name?

  • My mother, father, brother and myself all have K names.  I would say all "traditional" names, but I haven't really ran across a lot of people with my dad's name.  We also (minus dad) have L middle names.  I happen to like this little pattern and will continue it.  :D

  • I find K names in general to be more feminine in my opinion.

Kason is another one I roll my eyes at. It's like someone got bored with the name Jason & said, "Hey...I've got an idea!"

  • BTW - is Kylan pronounced to rhyme with Dylan or is it more like Kai-Lan?

I know a toddler named Kaysen. She's a girl. LOL there aren't even any Jasons that I know in the family, so talk about out of left field.

This exactly. Always loved Kyle, but now all K names just look horrible to me now because of Hollywood royalty.
