Where do you sit while you feed your babies?

I'm just about 20 weeks pregnant with twins and am researching nursing pillows.  I decided on the Twin Z pillow, but it looks huge.  I have a good size glider still in my DS's room, but I doubt I'll be able to fit in it wearing the pillow.  Ideally I'd like to feed the girls in their room, so DH can sleep and I don't have to go down two flights of stairs to the living room.  Should I get a small couch or something for their room?  I don't want to be sitting on the floor feeding them all the time, lol.

  • I think people tend to do it in their own bed… or on  spare room bed.  Those pillows are huge I don't know that even in a bigger rocker you'd be able to feed both.   We put a pretty big padded recliner in the boys room and I still couldn't feed both in it (but I never really got the hang of BFing).  I mostly sat between them in bouncers on the floor once they were big enough.  And at night DH and I split them up and each took one so we got more sleep.

  • I have the my Brest friend and EBF my boys. Those pillows you can not use in rockers lol. I have a boppy I keep next to the rocker on thier room and next to the lazy boy downstairs. My twin pillow I use I'm my bed mostly I just take the back support off and use my bed pillows instead. I would say you would want a deep set love seat if you want to feed in their room or maybe a twin sized bed?
