Taking DD out in the cold...

it is pretty cold here today. I have to finish up some xmas shopping and make a BRU trip for formula, etc. DH is like "you're taking Haylie out in this cold weather??" Geez, thanks for making me feel bad!! I have to get these things done, what am I supposed to do???

    It is currently -15 with a -35 windchill where I am. We still have to go on with life. Tell DH to STFU :-) It's not like you'll bring DD out naked and then hang around outside for awhile, I mean she will be bundled and going straight from car to building.

    Is your DH home today?  You could leave her with him.  Otherwise, just bundle her up really well.  Like you said, what choice do you have!

    Just bundle her really well. Layers are key.

    Cold doesn't hurt them as long as they're dressed properly.

    Bundle Haylie up and get your errands done :)  Ignore him usless he will do the errands for you.

    It's raining here in Los Angeles, and pretty cold for us.  But we have to go out...  and daddy cannot watch her.

    it's really cold here today too but we are taking dd out as well i'm just bundling her up nice and good!

    Technically babies only need one more layer than we do, so throw an extra sweater on her, and enjoy a day out.  She will be fine.  DS and I are taking a trip to my office today to visit.

    Lots of layers!  I may need to go out today, too, and I'm thinking a long sleeve onesie, a pair of leggings, a warm pair of pants, long sleeve shirt, a jacket with a hood, a knit cap, mittens, socks, and knit booties.  Plus, she'll be in her Bundle Me in the car seat.  It's 18 degrees and windy here right now, but you can't stay home all winter!
