Who wants to plan my vacation??? :)

So, we have been thinking about going away with A for a vacation. It's last minute... We earliest we could leave is December 27 and we need to be home by January 8. We love all inclusives. Could be in the US or not. We want something that's fun as a family, but what to do with an almost 10 month old????

Any thoughts, suggestions, or experiences will be appreciated!!

We took DS to Maui when he was 1 and did lots but also rested lots. Having to work around naps had really forced us to relax and enjoy the moment. I think no matter where you go it will be nice to get away as a family.

Florida keys? Less air time and you don't need a passport for DC. I know my sister went to some really nice all inclusive resorts in Mexico.

FL keys could work! I'll investigate.... We applied for A's passport a few weeks ago, I'm hoping it shows up soon

ETA: our neighbor said we could use his timeshare in Cancun, but we are still waiting on the agent to get back to us with availability.....

We took a 3+ hour direct flight to Puerto Rico out of Baltimore. I imagine you could get something pretty easy out of NY. Such an easy travel experience. We didn't do the all inclusive thing, but for travel- PR is awesome!

Aruba!!! Always perfect weather and probably a 6 hour flight since it's 4 from va. Tons of fun in the sun and kids areas to play. My friends took their 2 and 4 year old there and they had a blast

We stayed in a condo on the Mayan Riviera in May and are returning there at the end of December. I strongly suggest having a kitchen, or at least a fridge and microwave, and a separate sleeping area when traveling with a LO.
