Stroller for Twins with a Short Momma

I'm pregnant with identical twins due May 24th. This is my first pregnancy. I'm struggling with finding a double stroller that I like. I want a stroller that will work with two car seats and also have regular seats for when the twins are older. I'd like both seats to recline. My other dilemma is that I am short...only 5ft tall. I like the in-line double strollers with stadium seating but I'm worried I'll be to small to maneuver them around. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • I'm also 5' tall.  I have the Baby Jogger City Select.  I *love* it.  It is expensive but it is so worth it.  You can use car seats and also regular seats with it.  It handles extremely well and is very sturdy.  It's aluminum so there is a bit of weight to it but it's not so heavy that your height will hinder being able to handle it.

You can get extra accessories with it as well.  I do suggest getting the trays.  They will come in handy when you switch to regular seats.

  • I have the City Mini for my twins, but I have used the City Select with a 4 year old and 1 year old. It was easy to manuever, and I am scrawny and short.

I'm only 5 foot 2, and thought it was easy to maneuver/lift without being the most expensive option.

  • I'm 5'3 and we have the contours optima in red and black. I LOVE it! I love that they can face eachother, at 9 months, they love nothing more than babbling at eachother! Also, it comes with one carseat adapter but you can purchase another one and do two carseats and it really grows with you.

  • We went with the mountsin buggy duet but its side by side. The handle adjusts a lot which I like because there is a 10" difference between me and DH

  • I'm 5'3" and we have the britax b-ready. We have the britax car seats and the whole system is great! It comes with one seat, which you remove to use the stroller with the infant car seats. You have to buy the lower attachment separately. It manuvers fantastically. I can steer it fully loaded with one hand!
  • We are actually going with the joovy twin roo car seat stroller. Haven't figure do it what we will switch too after they grow out of it, but it is lightweight and has excellent reviews. https://www.amazon.com/Joovy-Twin-Roo-Seat-Stroller/dp/B00B07STA0/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2QTU7KQKWL590&coliid=ICV1GXAN8LLSX
