My friend is 18 weeks pregnant with her 2nd baby. She just found out that she has placenta previa and also they found a cyst on the baby's brain. She is being sent on to see a specialist. Her doc said sometimes the cysts go away on their own. Please keep her and baby in your prayers!!!!

I have heard that the cysts often resolve, so hope that is true for your friend. We had to go through monitoring monthly from 20 weeks on for some abnormalities on ultrasound. The waiting us really tough. I hope it all turns out to be normal for your friend and that they get the all clear soon!!

Thoughts and prayers her way. My sister in law has the same issues. She goes for her next US on December 30th to see if the cyst dissipated. Her OB stated 90% of the time the cyst dissipates. I hope that is the case for your friend. I can only imagine how scary that is.
