Well, sort of. More of one than before, anyway.
My OB agreed that completely weaning off the meds was not in my best interest or the baby's best interest, so I am going to continue my pain management routine. (Originally, she wanted me to try to be completely done with the pain meds by this point, but that was not working, clearly.) My next appt is set for two weeks from today, but she told me that if my pain is out of control or my BP can't be controlled to call anytime to come in, of course. She is willing to admit me to the hospital at any time for pain management and monitoring and to prepare for induction, but if I can make it to 36 weeks, we will schedule an amnio to check the baby's lung development, at which point she assumes I will either go into labor on my own OR we will start planning for induction at 37 weeks.
It feels good to have at least some direction. And to know that I can take pain meds if I am having a bad day. I hate that I have to continue doing that, but the stress on my body and the baby is not good, so it's a lesser of two evils situation at this point.
