Team/Type: mo/di (maybe team pink but waiting to confirm at next ultrasound)
Updates? We had a great NT appt and the doctor and ultrasound tech made a prediction that we have identical girls. I am trying not to get too excited because it is still so early but I am excited about the prospect. They both loooked great at the scan. Measuring within 3 days of eachother. Baby A was really mellow and Baby B was bouncing all around.
Next Appt: Midwife/OB appt Dec 27 and then MFM appt Jan 24
Question Of The Week :
I feel tired most of the time still. I get little bursts of energy here and there though and trying to use it to get the house in order before I get too uncomfortable.

Updates? We had our first BPP done last week @ 32w1d - and both babies looked great - but the most exciting part was that Baby B (who has been breech since around 20 weeks) FLIPPED and now both are head down!!!!!! Looking back I know when it happened - and it was around 30w or so. But now my chances of a vaginal delivery are so much better! Although now I am worried that she is going to flip back - but I keep telling myself they are running out of room in there. Both babies were estimated at over 4lbs each too! It's so crazy.
Next Appt Ob on Wed and MFM on Thurs.
Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult? This week I feel like a hit a wall - I am sooooo tired and out of breath. The third tri is HARD - my hips ache and wake me up every night. But the end is in sight - and that is soooo exciting I know I can get though this for the remainder.

Next Appt: I have another cervical check on Thurs and OB appt on Friday.
Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult? I am exhausted all the time partly due to sleeping awful! I go to bed at 8pm and wake up at least 3-4 times (and have trouble falling back asleep for a while every time!). So I wake up at 6:00 feeling like I barely slept!
Excited for our newest additions in April/May 2014!!
My sweet boy!! So in love with him.. Owen 03/27/2012

How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult? Starting last week, I have become a lot more exhausted and my back is taking a toll on me. I can't find a comfortable stop to sit or lay. I am hoping I can find what works for me soon.

Question Of The Week :
Team/Type - team green, tri/tri triplets
Updates? Lots of unwanted excitement here. Baby A's water ruptured on Thursday night so now I'm on HBR until these babies make their appearance. Thankfully I'm not contracting and babies seem to be doing well so far. Hopefully I can keep them in for a few more weeks as much as I hate being here! Especially over Christmas.
Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Mostly stiff/sore from being stuck in bed! Anxious about going into labour.

How Far along are you? - 36w on Friday.
Team/Type - Purple! boy and girl.
Updates? - DW was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes last week. Apparently she "just barely" didn't pass the test. But all the docs seem rather unconcerned, I guess because we are so far along. No finger pricking or sugar testing recommended, just told to cut back on carbs and sweets. And talk to a nutritionist for additional infos.
Next Appt - We are on the weekly appointment schedule for MFM and OB. I forget when each is. We're just doing Biophysical Profiles at MFM, and not growth every week. Will probably start Internals at OB this week.
MIL basically moves in next Monday (23rd). She only purchased a one-way ticket. So she'll be here for awhile.
Penciled in C-section is Jan 6th. MFM doc says the 27th looks like a good date too. DW is starting to get really uncomfortable. Backpain, swollen ankles. Her weight is around +50 for the pregnancy, and 90% of that is belly.

Updates? movement has picked up big time.

Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult?
I'm feeling great so far. We took a lengthy road trip to visit the inlaws over the weekend and I was pretty uncomfortable sitting in the car going and coming back. But other than that getting around great.

I'm exhausted but feeling ok for now. Just really tired. If I do a lot, I pay for it the next day. Not sleeping well at night, sleeping more during morning hours to lunch. Oldest kids helping out BIG TIME.

Next Appt? next Monday we will have another scan to check growth
How do you feel? I still feel pretty good. I am tired by the end of the day and have a sore back when I've been on my feet too much. Luckily I am getting good sleep. I have a "nest" I have made for myself out of a maternity pillow, 3 regular pillows and two throw pillows on the side for support. Poor Dh has about 1 foot of space on his "half" of the bed. I am in a mostly sitting up position with my knees and feet propped under more pillows. It helps with the hip/back pain as well as the acid reflux. The only bad part is getting all situated again after the 2-3x a night I get up to potty.

Updates? Had an appt today, both babies weigh 5 oz and are looking good. Baby B is a girl and Baby A is breach sitting on it's feet on my cervix with it's cord between it's legs and would not move so he/she will remain a mystery for awhile.

Quad screen results came back and were negative, meaning good.
Next appt with MFM on Friday for quick scan to make sure everyone is doing ok. Felt some kicks a few days ago, been feeling general movement for a while now.
Been having pain in my right side for almost a week now. Pretty much all the time. I'm not concerned bc I'm sure it's just from stretching or nerve pain but it sucks! I hit a wall every afternoon. Today I went grocery shopping and on a walk (in addition to caring for 18mo old DD and a 22mo little boy) so I'm exhausted! Otherwise I feel ok. My appetite has decreased a bit. Trying to drink tons of water bc I keep reading how important it is...and getting tired of peeing All The Time.

Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult?
I feel pretty good but after 2 weeks in the same room and spending majority of my time in the bed, I am getting a little sick of it! The bed is quite uncomfortable too! But I will do anything for my babies!
I think I hit my fatigue somewhere around the early 20 weeks but then it got a little better and then it came again a few weeks later!

Updates? Baby A flipped to vertex as of today, but B is still transverse so I'm mentally preparing for a c-section. Who knows what they will do over the next few weeks.
Next Appt: First Friday in January with OB. I'm going there every two weeks already - how did that happen?!
Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult?
In general I feel ok. I can't say that I've hit a fatigue wall, but I've reached a point where my legs and hips can't keep up with what the rest of me wants to do. My hips are really bothering me at night and my right leg is starting to swell a bit. OB thinks it's just how the babies are sitting messing with my circulation. I hate the feeling.
Team/Type don't know yet, di/di
Updates? I had my first MFM appointment today! Both babies look great and two placentas were confirmed. They measured 12w5d and 13w2d, with BPMs of 163 and 167. Baby A is head down and Baby B is butt down, one on each side of my belly. Baby B was definitely the more active one today :-).
Next Appt: I have an OB appointment the day after Christmas. I have not had an OB appt that did not involve just talking and an ultrasound, so I do not know what to expect.
Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult? I am feeling less sick than I had been (finally), but have been getting really bad headaches almost daily. Sometimes they last 12-20 hours. Honestly, I haven't yet experienced NOT being fatigued, but I know it is nothing compared to some of you ladies a who are later in the game. I was more tired a couple weeks ago, but I certainly do not have energy. That may have something to do with my other two + working from home in the evenings. :-)

Updates? My c-section is scheduled for this thursday! Can't believe I will be a mom in 2 days
Next Appt I have my pre-op appointments tomorrow and my last appointment with my OB tomorrow as well.
Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult? I had a pretty easy pregnancy, since hitting around 34 weeks that is when I really started to feel the fatigue because I had so much trouble sleeping.

Updates? Had OB appointment yesterday, last one before our c/s this Friday! anxiety is starting to kick in - not looking forward to the surgery!

Question Of The Week :

Team/Type? Green Mo/Di
Updates? It's been a little intense: B is still growing, but growth rate seems to have slowed down again, so I'm stepping up the bed rest, really focusing on eating protein, and counting my lucky stars that I can feel these babies moving!
Love my OB though: she's great at explaining best case, worst case, and realistic expectations, so even though it's been rough and full of fear and anxiety, I'm starting to calm down a bit.
Next appt? Friday morning for my weekly limited u/s.
Question Of The Week: How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult? I've been feeling better lately, with a good OB appt on Monday, but still plenty anxious. I'm definitely tired, but not sure if that's the "fatigue wall" or not being able to sleep through the night. My biggest difficulty has really just been managing the anxiety of such a high risk pregnancy. Viability is Monday! So, that's helping bring my spirits up.
Team/Type mo/di girls
Updates? We had an MFM appt yesterday and we found out some unexpected news. Thanks to my awesome Midwife yesterday she took exact notes from the doctor. Here's her notes:
Baby A: "Double bubble"-narrowing of connection from stomach to duodeum. Specifically the piloris sphincter. This is classified as a small bowel obstruction. It is more pronounced at todays visit than last look. Recommended delivery at UCDavis. Surgery for this may occur immediately after birth or may be delayed depending on how she can handle food-unless the surgeons give another reason to do so sooner. Twins are monochorionic-identical. Possible prominant (enlarged) adrenal on left kidney (this will be monitored along with everything else-it's possibly a side effect of the other issues) No twin to twin transfusion noted so far. Recommended delivery @37 weeks due to possibility of rapid twin to twin transfusion. Baby's heart: Aorta is coming from center of the heart instead of the left side. Appears to have gaps in the heart that he is unsure of what they are or what problems this could cause. Unsure of the health of the structure of the aorta-where it inserts the heart. Referring to a pediatric cardiologist Dr. Raffner with UCDavis, to assess these issues. Fluid collection on the side of baby's lung-unknown reason-unsure what it is.
Baby B: will be watched for similar issues due to belief that they are identical twins: Baby B heart is excellent. Stomach however appears to be enlarged like baby A was in the very first ultrasound. No double bubble yet. Everything else appears healthy on baby b. Will watch stomach-and continue to look for similar issues as care progresses.
T&P's would be appreciated! Has anyone else experienced this with their identical twins?
Next Appt. Waiting on a call from a pediatric cardiologist and pediatric surgeon. Our next OB appt is Jan 6th and MFM appt on Jan 15th.
Question Of The Week :
How do you feel? Do you remember hitting a fatigue wall do far in your pregnancy? If so when? What has been difficult?
I think the most difficult thing is not being able to clean house as well as I usually do. I'll clean half a room and be exhausted! Also not playing with my kids, taking walks to the park, stuff like that. I feel so helpless sometimes but I know it's for the best, need to keep these babies healthy and in my belly for at least 5 more weeks!!
