Weird FF calendar??

Anyone familiar with the FF app? I just started tracking my cycle in October, so 2 full cycles for me. I didn't start tracking temps until this week, so previously was only tracking when my period started and when we had sex. So for October, it shows fertile days on CD 16-18 (dark green square on calendar) and ovulation on CD 19-23 (light green square) - similar for November, except it's CD 19-21 and CD 22-26. So it's showing 5 ovulation days per cycle? Anyone know why this is? I'm guessing maybe because I have a long cycle (32 and 37 days these 2 cycles) and wasn't tracking temps, it's not sure when I ovulated so it's highlighting all possible days? Is that right? I googled, but couldn't find anything about having multiple ovulation days...

    Honestly I never paid attention to the days when the app said I was fertile - I based it on OPK's since I have wacky cycles.

    Like you said, FF had no way of telling your fertile days because you weren't tracking any signs. So it takes the best guess, most likely based on averages, and highlighting the possible fertile days. Temping is great, if done correctly, but even that does not show the day you ovulated until after it happened. Watching CM and using OPKs would be more helpful in telling you when you are approaching ovulation.
