For Future Reference- possible issue in the Toddler years!

So daycare called me today and says "Claire stuck some corn up her nose and it's really far up there, you need to come get her."
DD is almost 3 and has never done anything like this before so I had no idea what to do. I called the pediatrician after checking her nose and seeing just how far up there it was (really far). The ped said I had to take her to the ER. So after an hour in the waiting room the nurse says, plug her nostril that doesnt have the corn in it and blow in her mouth. I did it, and out popped the kernel. So strange.

I asked DD why she did it and she said, "mommy, it's just corn" as if that should explain it. Needless to say, we have had an eventful afternoon.

Lmao!!! If my daughter is anything like me I'll be going through that a lot. I once stuck a red bead up my nose. I have no idea what made me do that. My mother took me to the ER because she thought I had a blood blister. Your DD is going to love that story when she is older.
