Need encouragement - PPROM

My Baby A's water ruptured at the end of last week. I'm 26w2d with tri/tri triplets. Anyone else experience PPROM and have a success story to share? I'm not having any contractions yet thankfully, but on HBR until delivery. Just hoping I can keep these babies in a few more weeks!
Me: 33 DH: 36 Unexplained IF
First pregnancy - DS 01-Apr-09;
3rd cycle Clomid/IUI after 2 years TTC
TTC #2 since ~June 2010
IUI #1 & 2 - Clomid/IUI - BFN
IUI #3 &4 - Gonal-F/Ovidrel and IUI -- BFN
IUI #5 - Gonal-F/Ovidrel and IUI -- BFP!!
EDD: March 22, 2013
It's triplets!!

    I am going through the same! I'm a FTM mom pregnant with b/g twins. I had pprom with a water break on December 1st at 26 weeks. I was given magnesium, antibiotics, fluid, and the steroid shots. I've been at the hospital since and I'm now 28 weeks 1 day and we are still holding on. I had one episode of contractions at 27 weeks that they stopped with terbutaline otherwise I've not had any and just showed irritability on the monitors. They babies are continuously looking good when monitored and my vitals are also good. They told us our first big goal was to make it to 28 weeks which we thankfully have and that every day after that is a bonus. Our next goal is 32 weeks now.     @nblondheim - thanks so much for sharing! I've had the steroid shots and I'm on antibiotics. My first goal is to make it one week from rupture, then to 28 weeks as well. Fingers crossed for both of us!

    I PPROMed at 29w2d, and I made it to 33w4d before delivering my twins.  Keep drinking tons of water to keep enough fluid in the broken sac!!  Both of you, feel free to PM me if you have any questions about my experience.   

    T&P for both of you to keep those babies in a while longer!

    Lots of thoughts and prayers your way! I haven't gone threw it personally but my "next door neighbor" in the hospital had PPROMS with her triplets at 26 and 6 and she delivered 3 very adorable healthy babies at 33 weeks and 3 days. Of course they were small and needed assistance in son departments and had a NICU stay who happened to be in the same NICU pod as mine and they all did really well considering. Hang in there!


    Together 6 wonderful years.

    I don't have personal experience with that particular issue but the fact you've gone a few days is a really good sign. Every day is so important. I pray and hope you're able to keep those babies in for several more weeks. Small goals helped me make HBR more manageable, like 24w, 26w, 28w. Take your bed rest as strict as you can too. I made it to 28w4d and they are healthy 2 year olds now.
