Flying to Disney at 6 months pregnant?

So, we have a trip planned to go to Disney this coming April. It'll be me, 12yo DD, S/O, my Dad, and my brother. I think Dad's GF and grandkids are meeting us down there, not sure.

We want to go early April, and I'll be 24/25 weeks along.

Is there going to be any difference if we go in March rather than April? I don't know how big I'll be then, would I be more comfortable walking around if I go earlier than April?

April is good for us because it won't be too hot down there we're told, and it'll give me/brother enough time to accure paid time off from work. We're going for 3 days and coming back home on the 4th day.

Also, I have INSANE plane anxiety, and now I have no clue how I'm going to get on a plane without a massive tranquilizer.

You can check out this for predicted crowds. There isn't a huge difference in late march/early april.

We're headed to Disney World in three weeks. Can't wait :) Plan on carrying lots of water and taking breaks. Disney has baby centers in all of their theme parks that are also open to expectant moms. If your feeling hot, tired, need to sit down on a comfortable arm chair instead of a hard bench or just want to get away from the crowds for a few ask a cast member to direct you towards one.

I'm a disney world nerd. Feel free to bother me if you have questions.

Plane anxiety I've got nothing. I'm horrific at plane flights. Can you take nyquil while pregnant? I've used that and zzquil to knock myself out for flights but I don't know how that works being pregant.

I will totally bombare you with questions when you get back!

I posted about Disney in the TTGP thread a couple months ago and they gave me tons of advice, but I feel different going now that I'm pregnant.

That's awesome they have waiting areas for us pregnant ladies!

  • We know we're staying at one of the 'value' resorts inside the Animal Kingdom. I've got that much planned so far!

I've got 3 days to plan what we are going to do. Day 1 is Animal Kingdom, and Day 2 and 3 will be for other ones.

I'm actually looking forward to going pregnant, because I can rock a bikini pregnant more than I rock one with a flabby gut.

    Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach!!!

Are those the waterparks? I can see S/O and my brother getting down on that, not sure about Dad though!

Also, DD is a mega wuss and I'm not sure how many rides she'll be brave enough to handle at any park.

You'll want a full day for Magic Kingdom. I could spend a week in Epcot but you could split it with Hollywood Studios if you get a park hopper pass you can do all 4 parks. You may not hit every ride but you could certainly hit the highlights.

Are you planning on doing any sit down dinners or character breakfasts? Thats my favorite part but not everyone does.

We have 3 full days there, so I think we're going to do one park a day. Animal Kingdom is the first day, we haven't picked the other 2 yet.

After I figure that part out, then I'm going to make reservations for each day in the parks we pick, so we can do at least one a day.

I figure we can get regular food the other times?
